I won't be supplying any details to bookies. Will have to rely on shops. If it happens in those also I won't be betting.
I know a couple of successful punters that have little choice but to rely moistly on shops. It's more of an effort to get money on, but it works for them.
I’m just having the same battle with Virgin Bet who are being very specific and difficult.
I’ve offered all sorts of info that confirms source of funds but they have been insistent on seeing bank statements, no doubt ulterior motives so that’s another short and sweet relationship.
Shops really will be key moving forward, I had never fully appreciated their value until they were forced to close...
Having complied with everything requested and provided, against my better judgement, evidence of winnings from other bookmakers, the response I received from Virgin this morning was to say that the decision has been taken to close my account.
Just laughable behaviour from Virgin who have proved themselves to be yet another joke outfit, be warned....

Honestly, there's going to be no point with online betting as it stands. They only want losers to bet and then go on about responsible gambling.
I think we may see the appearance of third party sites in the not so distant future. You might be required to show proof once then they act as a sorting house for deposits.. We'll see...
