Not so much for those that are anti-vaccine though. We can wave at them from the gates though
Met with my accountant recently and he's refused the jab
He said, "I don't see why I should put a foreign body into me", "I'm young fit and healthy and people like me are not in danger"
I said, "you're 5 foot 7 and 15 stone, and in your early 50's, you daft cunt"
Sometimes we give people to much respect and assume they are intelligent when they're actually fucking stupid.

And why somebody assuming they have free will over what goes into their body is a “Daft cunt”? Regardless of weight etc....
Pretty grim that there is effectively a 2 tier society being created and people are celebrating it

Having to manage debates about politics isn't something this corner of the internet is designed for.... private message each other if you like.
Anyway, was listening to a podcast the other day in which John Nield “owner of splash of ginge” was so matter of fact in saying The Hollow Ginge would win the Scottish National, not sure where else to post thisLast edited by Jrow; 26 March 2021, 06:50 AM.

he was a daft cunt for his rationale not his choice
I thought this was clear.
A vaccine pass would mean there’s almost certainly less idiots where I will be frequenting.
that can only be a good thing IMO
I’m pretty sure anyone with good reason not to vaccinate would be fine.

And I think use of the c-word should be banned from the forum.
I don't care what language people use in private.
But this is a public forum.
Use of such terms is unnecessary and lowers the tone.
Surely we are better than that.

There's no place for word snobbery though !
Where will it all end ?
Will Kev have to issue a list of words that are banned, just because some people are offended or feel a specific word is beneath them or not worthy.
Should we all provide him with a list of words we feel are unnecessary or in our opinion lower the tone ?
Then ban them all ?
IMO, if anyone was offended by the use of that word, particularly 'in the context' of the original comment.
Then they are exactly what the word was intended for, alongside an adjective of course.
I'm glad you don't care what language people use in private, because that would be weird if you did.
Although to be honest, if someone was discussing in private right now about planning to burn my house down with me in it, then I'd probably care about that. Not so much if they were using profanities whilst discussing it though. I'd be more concerned about the plans they were making than if they called me a cunt or not.
I could choose to be as offended as you appear to be, in that you've labelled my use of a word unnecessary and lowering the tone of a forum.
But I'm not, cos that would be pathetic

Prefer not to see them on here, but I’m not going to make an issue of it, apart from this post.

Why?
Probably because they consider it inappropriate to use such language on this platform.
I was wrong to suggest it should be banned. It's not a big problem.
But I believe I'm right in saying this forum is not the right place to use the c-word. It's not a good look.
The Racing Post, ITV Racing, Timeform, the racing pages of every national newspaper and magazine all seem to get by perfectly well without using the c-word.
We are obviously not in their league.
But the forum has an image to protect .
And I think it's true to say we want to earn the respect of punters who might be interested in joining.
So as individuals we have a shared responsibility to keep within certain boundaries.
Take it or leave it - that's where I stand.
