  • This may have gone under the radar a little

Colin Tizzard had a great festival!

second in the Arkle, RSA, Albert Bart, NR ran 4th in the QM

For someone who’s struggled all season long, he’s probably the only positive from a GB perspective

maybe one to watch out for for Aintree

I like the Tizzards - would expect Joe to be at forefront of English revival

A big ask but at least there could be some shoots there

Whereas Nichols looks to win as much as you can in the smaller races at the season

Henderson looks to be in a bad spell, has probably 2 decent horses

Dan S looks to be the one that could mount a decent challenge within the next 5 years.

        Otherwise... meh

Yes all at big prices too! And yes - horses generally go well at Aintree. I think they have some nice horses going forward but obviously this season I’m general is one to write off.

Kings Temptation fell on the flat and was fatally injured in the Cross Country. Not aware of any others, fingers crossed.

                • Kevloaf , after the dust settles & in the interest of good housekeeping, do we continue with existing threads that have no date (e.g. Request a Bet thread) or will new ones be opened for next year?

                  • Is there any way of like foldering threads off by year? Might be easier to sift through and organise

                    • I've just seen the early any race prices for 2022 with sky...they are ridiculous. interesting to see what hills do as they tend to be better but here is a sample

                      shiskin. evens
                      appreciate it. 2/1
                      honeysuckle 5/2
                      bob olinger 3/1
                      allaho 7/2
                      monkfush 7/2

there is no way I want to get involved at those prices now....
