I’ve been there every year since 1990, the last 10 years or so we’ve extended the week so it starts Sunday getting there early evening and a decent feed/beer, Monday is the Mark Ball preview so your time is taken up and nothing drags, plus getting a few beers inside you usually helps when its shut eye time.
This year is painful, beyond painful...

Too much daytime cat napping and not enough night sleep is leaving me feeling shattered, I have been over reading and far to much racing tv.
The fact we will not be attending has had an entirely different feel to this years festival but instead of being my main enjoyment it is the attending of race meeting that I miss most of all.
Aintree always left me with the feeling it was a second rate show a touch of After the Lord Mayors show so to speak and after discovering Punchestown I never wanted to miss this ever again but that is off for this year, hope we can attend again soon maybe the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket could be a trial day for the public.

Anybody else having issues cashing some 365 bets? Had a NRNB treble that included Royal Pagaille that I placed last week so wanted to change that but they won't let me cash out, even though the box isn't greyed out. Just get a message saying 'sorry, this bet cannot be cashed out'. Bit annoying.
