Can't believe Phil the Greek farted near the baby, did she need to tell us that.

It's on every effing channel, repeats, repeats, repeats and now this........I'm beginning to feel like we are being slowly brain washed in woke.

      • I've often wondered what some of the French named horses mean in English, so for my own amusement I translated (tried to anyway... feel free to point out inaccuracies) a number of the current lot. Some translate better than others:

Chacun Pour Soi - Every Man For Himself
A Plus Tard - See You Later
        Haut En Couleurs - Colourful
Galopin des Champs - Field Gallop
Defi Des Carres - Edge Challenge/Challenge of the Edges
        Le Patriote - The Patriot
Delire D'Estruval - Delirium of Estruval (Estruval is a tiny village in Northern France I have now learnt)
Fanion D'estruval - Pennant of Estruval
Tout Est Permis - Everything Is Allowed
        Petit Mouchoir - Small Handkerchief
        Sceau Royal - Royal Seal
        Buveur D'Air - Air Drinker
        Coeur Sublime - Sublime Heart
        Hous Gris - Gray Holly
        Homme Public - Public Man
Royale Pagaille - Royal Mayhem (Would be quite an apt winner currently...)
        Dominateur - Domineering
Dame De Compagnie - Paid Companion
Lair Du Vent - Air of Wind
Ciel De Neige - Snow Sky
Flic Ou Voyou - Cops And Robbers
Vive le Roi - Long Live the King (As a big Sharpe/Hornblower fan I feel like i've heard this one a million times. Shout out to any other Sharpe or Hornblower fans on here, respect)
        Politologue - Political Scientist
        Rouge Vif - Bright Red
Espirit du Large - Offshore Spirit
Eclair De Beaufeu - Flash Of Beautiful Fire (something along those lines?!)
Elle Est Belle - She is Beautiful
Franco de Port - Carriage Paid
Heure De Gloire - Glory Hour
Defi Du Seuil - Challenge Threshold
Alaphilippe - Just a French surname I think. That of by far my favourite cyclist.

Others that seem a mix of languages:
Funambule Sivola - Grey Tightrope Walker
Cobra De Mai - May Charge (Catalan)
Marta Des Mottes - March Of Clods
Baladin de Mesc - By Religion of Musk
Deise Aba (Deise is 'opportunity' in Irish, Aba is 'flap' in Portugese. God knows...)
        Adagio - Slowly (Italian)

              Instead of 15 live bets 4s x 6d x 4t x 1f
              It's just 3s x 3d x 1t ( 8 lost)

It can translate to 'Lady of Company' too, which is just a slightly more diplomatic way of saying the same thing...

                      Yep.
Which is why NRNB lucky 15's are miles better. 14 bets still live and money back on a single.

Is this because the french jockey is amateur?
