  • Speaking of dodgy bookies. Anyone used Racebets? Leave odds hanging very late, but close you pretty quick.

    They do pay out though.

The current top jockey in the UK is available, and in the circumstances one of the two big trainers would be bonkers not to snap him up.

      Available at 100/1 with Betfair.
Good case, but if anyone fancies him they can get 125/1 with me...

Thought they lost their UK licence?

Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

I noticed that and was going to extend the post, to ask has anyone used VPNs to get around? I've used them abroad for like 365 etc. But i know for a fact Racebets had my IP as everytime i tried to open an acct they caught on.

Willie loses Patrick as number 2, Gordon loses the Coddfather, JP loses The Doc.
Patrick will go pro i reckon.

Jack Kennedy's the bet at the prices IMO.

                • Maybe so. But there's a bunch of top Irish jockeys that won't be at the Festival. Presumably it'll be a small pool that fly over because you can't see riders coming over just for two or three rides.

That means riders over here are going to be used more than usual. In the case of Willie and Gordon wouldn't they want they best available, and there both currently a top jockey short.

If I were either of them I'd be on the phone to Hughes knowing he'll have very few rides because he's not attached to the big southern stables.

I agree it's unlikely to happen. But that's what I'd do. And that's what they should do.

They'll use Rachael when available and Cooper amongst others.

                    Patrick will go pro probably.

Who do you think is Gordie's replacement for Davy? I reckon Denis O'Regan gets more rides than usual.

Cooper I agree. Rachel will already be pretty busy. Henry has a load coming over this time.

No chance Patrick goes pro. He's chasing records.

I presume Keith Donohue is in line for a few more rides in the chases, and he'll use the claimers in the handicaps.

Is it public knowledge how long he has to stay pro for after turning pro?

Not sure but it's been ages for Bryan Cooper

lol, he's gone down the drain in recent years, too much booze and birds.

Hopefully he's back on the straight + narrow, got the talent.

If you ride less than 25 winners can flip back ? So could do it for this and Aintree ? He might be a left field one in case anything happened Paul.
