I certainly don't place much trust in long range forecasts.

And as RC says, a wet week between March 9 and 16 could leave us back with a soft ground Festival.

All I'm saying is that after a very wet winter when most of the key races have been run on soft/heavy......we COULD end up with good to soft/good soft in places conditions which have been almost entirely absent all winter.
Yeah, I get where you are coming from, it’s just that I think these 10 days are not so important. It could actually be wet for the next 10 days and we could still have Good to Soft on Day 1 if the next 10 days after that are dry as a bone with a good wind.

Seeing some of the comments in response to your original post made me wonder if some thought the Festival was starting a week earlier than it is.

        No. They close at midday.

Entries may be announced later this week (Thursday?) but the only guaranteed date is the weights in a weeks time.

They do plan to open no worse than Good/Soft but times of the Supreme in the past have proved the ground to be different to the 'official' going.

Yep, but the 2% commission option is definitely the way to go and I’m sure will pay over time...

Cannot wait!! Literally wait for it all year long every year, then when I talk to my mates at work they don't understand how important it is to me

Anyone that uses the exchange regularly should pick the 2% option.

I think the Concertista / Elimay special they have pays 6/1....

I'd probably sooner do that, although obviously Colreevy is probably running for you too....

I don't think there is much juice in at 9/2 really, assuming you've already backed his main MNH horses?

What he possibly lacks in quality in the mares novices, he makes up in quantity (and still has the fav!) Wouldnt put anyone off that, especially if Colreevy gives him another dart in the MC.

Yeah so would be a double loser if one of them didn't win! Not for me! Cheers.
