  • Anybody had an issue with Bet365 and their money back offer at Cheltenham yesterday ?
My bet was 2nd, money returned to account but it's dead money, can't spend it on a bet and can't withdraw it.
Have emailed them but wondering if anyone else had the same issue ? Thanks

I don't know but I sure would like to know. Hoping someone on here understands the qualification criteria and can let us all know.

          • This was it for 2024 so I assume just add a year onto the qualification thresholds

            Wouldn't qualify under those rules

….looks to me like he won a Hunter Chase at Limerick on 29th Dec and came 2nd in a PTP today. He won 2 PTP in Feb and Mar last year but I’m not sure if that qualifies him.

The PTP wins were a maiden and a winner of one, not an open PTP so they don't count for the qualification.

Thanks for this. I actually found the same data and posted it on the January Yankee thread. To be honest I am still none the wiser with respect to qualification. Am hoping we have a P2P Specialist who can decipher the rules against his performances to date. The bookies have shortened him but that won't mean much.

                        That's encouraging. Thanks.

                        • Darren Pierce on Twitter, who knows his hunter chases, said he hasn't qualified. Maybe there's been a change in qualification rules the trainers are aware of? If he needed to win, they should have picked an easier PTP than facing off against the winner.

If he wasn't good enough to win today then he'd surely struggle to win against the very best at the Fez.

                            • Apologies, this is the tweet I was referring to.

So maybe today wasn't the right one for the top 2 thing. Given up trying to work out qualification criteria this year.

                                Rockys Howya is decent himself.
He beat the current favourite easily in an open point last May. Was also 4th beaten 4l by Premier Magic 2 years ago.

He has plenty of time to qualify, if they want to. And he stays sound.
It's point to point and hunter chase season full swing through Feb.
