Ran a good race I felt. Didn’t look like Walsh went after him too much but he still closed after the last. Looks like he’ll need a proper trip.

          • Willie Mullins seemingly not bothering with the King George this year, according to RoadToCheltenham

            Ferny Hollow
            Gaelic Warrior

            Grangeclare West
            Ile Etait Temps
            Minella Cocooner

            All scratched from the race!

            • Be interesting if with the King George scratchings today, that Gordon looks at letting Found a Fifty have a crack at three miles.
              It looks open to me.

I was looking at the market, wondering the same thing, instead I ended up backing Corbetts Cross before Unibet cut him further.

I'm not sure Found A Fifty would win a King George, but I think it would be great for them to try and find out. It's a race that has done well for potential Ryanair runners too, so they may roll the dice.

I think Ginnys Destiny is massively overpriced for the KG and another case of bookmakers over reacting to one poor run

IMO he has as much chance as Grey Dawning who is a third of the price

NIcholls said after the PP that he regretted not getting a run into him beforehand and that he probably wants 3m nowadays

I thought they mentioned that he needed to go left handed to be seen to best effect?

                      • Barry Connell & Michael O'Sullivan have parted ways with immediate effect.

Sean Flanagan will ride for Barry now - presumably on Marine next time out as schooled him at Punchestown on Sunday.

That's interesting. Wonder if he has ended up at Willie's? It was only a matter of time before he went there as no.2 and has been getting a fair few rides for him over the last year or so.

Flanagan is no bad jockey though.

I'd say there's plenty above him in the pecking order at Closutton. No idea what Mikey's plan is but I'd say he'll be picking up rides wherever he can.
