In other sports I think Wales at 16/1 (PP) to win the Six Nations is a very good bet. Wales struggled last year with a new coaching team who were blooding new players but they have a good record in the six nations in the comp before the Lions Tour. They are playing Ireland & England at home so will suffer with no spectators as they won’t have atmosphere in their favour but are capable of beating them as they have a lot of experienced players in their starting 15. I’ve gone E/W at 16/1 paying 1/3 for 2nd place.

I think its hard to compare Wales' historical record which was based on them having Gatland and Edwards coaching them, who constantly maximised the returns from their resources, with the current squad and ticket who struggled to beat Georgia in the Autumn.
Their biggest issue is they have huge defensive structural problems - their 13 channel seems to mindlessly charge up making them very easy to play around.
Not much of a betting angle but its hard to look past France and England- though I could see Redpath and Russell giving England some scares today

I can't fancy Wales at all at the moment. France at 5/2 are a big price. This is the best French team for a very long time. Finally they have a good coach and so much young talent coming through.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

I've missed five Wales home games since The Millennium Stadium opened in 1999, (will always refer to it as that) and the game i always get overly worried about is the Ireland game (2005 was an exception), this year is no different, had Liam Williams and Josh Adams been playing i might feel differently. Josh Adams not playing after attending a family gender reveal gathering !!!! i'm yet to be convinced by Pivac but i've been wrong plenty times in the past
