Il Est Francais a clear favourite though IMO ... not that it's worth backing this far out
I know it was a fast time but what turned out to be a 4 runner race in last year's Kauto Star was a very poor race imo. Kilbeg King only 14l away in third does not frank the form.

He'd be the one to beat on form
Wouldn't use the Kilbeg King 'only' 14L behind as particularly valid reasons to not like Il Est Francais myself but not debating the literal form as Fastorslow's is currently much further ahead...
Il Est Francais on the up and clearly suited by conditions is what's appealing... I assumed Fastorslow would stay in Ireland though, but happy to see otherwise and I'll re-assess

Martin Brassil is aiming stable star Fastorslow at this year's King George on St Stephen's Day en route to a tilt at redemption in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Apologies if this has been explained previously but what is the argument for guests to be allowed to roam the forum? What would we lose if it were members only? Sounds like we have spies and rogue individuals here that affect the antepost market and the odds we can get so unless they add value would it be harsh to lock it down and only have vetted members?

John Durkan could be a very tasty race this year with Fastorslow, Galopin Des Champ and Fact or File all targeting the race. Might be that FOS gets beat in that and goes out in price for the KG ? Could go the other way though of course.

Looks proper tasty
could be tactical as well, wouldn’t suprise me if they go easy with GDC’s and us it as a prep, and instead tune one of Mullins other ones to run a huge race
Appreciate It and Tornado Flyer have ran extremely well in this at bigger prices. Think I’d keep an eye on the second string for Mullins, something that doesn’t really have main target for the rest of the season and could be wound up to win this

Something has been happening. Salvator Mundi has started to be clipped in for the Supreme and Gaelic Warrior is weak for about 6 bookies in the Ryanair. Galopin Des Champs also nudged out for the Gold Cup and Fastorslow strengtheningLast edited by Yosser; 10 September 2024, 05:37 PM.
