Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

        True

Sometimes the value of stable tours are overlooked though - From hendo's tour the 3 I took from it for this week were Gran Luna, No Ordinary Joe and Dusart ; all 3 have came out and won this week and made a nice few pound off the last 2 in particular which opened good prices.

'Possibly going out in trip will be a help to him'.

Yes, it might have been a help to him last season as well but instead you were waffling on about how much speed he had and sending him to the Supreme despite the owner having a runner in the race.

              Ferny -
Paul [Townend] rode him with nerves of steel at Cheltenham. I'd imagine that gave him great personal pleasure, especially to ride him the way he did. It got us on the board and it changed our week. Given the speed he showed that day, I'd imagine Paul will be looking forward to riding him over hurdles as much as we're looking forward to seeing him. He certainly has enough speed for two miles.

Thanks Outlaw... they seem very firm on him being a 2 miler

He'll be out over hurdles in the next month and jumps very well. He had done some fantastic work in the lead up to the Irish St Leger, but just got a little jarred on the ground.

                      • Dunno if it’s been mentioned, but Benie looks like going mares Chase, suffered a small setback too. Hopefully put second half of season.

Agreed - makes me think Ballyward will go Ballymore if Ferny is top class over hurdles. They only have a small (but obscenely good!) string so dont think they will want them to take each other on.

No evidence to back that up though?

Essentially, they have different jockeys and trainers, so no reason they wouldn't take each other on if both look like 2 milers.

Dangerous to assume that Ferny is a Supreme horse over Ballyadam too at this stage, we've seen Ballyadam... we've not seen Ferny hurdle yet.

                              Back both for the Supreme

If they both live up to expectations, I'd be very surprised if they took each other on. Loads of water to go under the bridge but I just don't see it.

If CP weren't bothered about potential clashes, Sir Gerhard would surely be over hurdles this season.
