Hello Fat Jockeys,
Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum
We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

He could be an interesting one for the Fred Winter. Obviously stays well and has a good resolve at the finish which is always useful at Cheltenham. Hills have him at 25-1 TWAR. He's best price 33-1 for the Triumph.
Posted a 129 rpr on his winning hurdles debut for Gordon over 2m 2f at Ballinrobe a couple of weeks ago - beating one of Willie's who went off favourite.
That rpr was higher than the debut figures posted by Gordon's 3 Fred Winter winners - Aramax (126), Veneer of Charm (121) and Flaxen Flare (113).
Their winning rprs in the Fred Winter were: Aramax (138), Veneer of Charm (135) and Flaxen Flare (140).
So if Gordon chooses to plot a Fred Winter path and keep Zanahiyr's weight down he doesn't have that much improvement to make to have a decent shout.
And with Quilixios already looking like Gordon's leading Triumph hope he has plenty of time to steer this one towards the Fred Winter.
Gordon mentioned he'll be better on a "big galloping track". Sounds just like Cheltenham to me.
The only negative is that Elliot also said Zanahiyr "might be one for the nice staying handicaps on the flat too".
That's fine - provided he saves that plan for Galway next summer. Let's bag the Fred Winter first.
Watched replays of all his races and he's not electric but he seems to do his best work at the finish and has a great attitude.
Haven't pressed the button yet. Interested if anyone else has an opinion.

From Gordons RacingTV interview near the end of Down Royal it seems as though Zanahiyr & Quilixios will be his two Triumph horses, he was asked if Quilixios was near or top of his 3 year old pecking order and Gordon replies "I'd imagine so, him and the horse that won at Ballinrobe, Zanahiyr".
Make of it what you will, but Zanahiyr will obviously need another two runs to get a handicap mark for the FW.
I think Quevega put Zanahiyr up at 50/1 at some point, possibly others too, but I notably remember him giving him a good word. Still 33/1 for the Triumph, which I will probably have a go at, worst case is it will be a small loss should he lose next time out, but if he wins it will be the Triumph that he runs in for me.
Most (possibly all) juveniles that win the Fred Winter have usually lost at some point over hurdles prior to taking the crown. I guess this would probably go hand in hand with getting a handicap mark, as unbeaten types are usually too high for the race.

If it is, then it will cover a fair few more horses than the Sporting Life did today.
They didn’t even discuss Elimay or Elfile - both high up the Mares Chase market."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".
