Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I’m very surprised they haven’t schooled Shiskin over fences yet

Buveur Dair At the races stable tour

He had a wedge of hurdle stuck in his hoof which resulted in an extremely complicated procedure to remove it. He had a very large part of the hoof cut away and was taken back to Martinstown where he continues his rehabilitation and it hard to say if he will come back. Only time will tell but it would be great if he could have a crack at a third Champion Hurdle.

According to Hendos Blog BD has been back in the yard since the 19th September so a lot of these quotes could be 3 weeks old at least or a lot longer considering he wasn't sure if he would be back at the time of the AT The Races stable tour.

I think he'd need to seriously disappoint over fences to remain over hurdles. You could probably get 33/1 on the champion hurdle but I can't see it happening.

Henderson has already said that Shiskin would be good enough to win a Champion Hurdle. He said the same re Altior. They do seem intent on a chasing career though. I've got him TWAR but only at 5.5/1. If he were to go Churdle he'd be 2nd fav without doubt.

Can’t get anything over 20/1 for the Champion Hurdle - it was previously higher on the exchange but has been backed. I had a great price for Buvuer Dair for his first Champion Hurdle after he started that season over fences - and have to admit I’m wary of history repeating itself...

When I checked the exchanges there's a massive gap between the back and lay. You could post up 34.0 and it would almost certainly get matched.

He already has the favourite in the Champion Hurdle so can see why he's angling to go down the Arkle route.

                        • Shiskin has already ran in 2 PTP's and won one of them so he's had a bit of practice already .

Skipped to him talking about Topofthegame. As someone involved for the Ladbrokes Trophy and the GC have to say I was a bit surprised about how fragile the horse apparently is. I kind of thought what happened last season was very much safety first, but although I still get that impression it also sounds like he is made of glass. Not an ideal ingredient for an antepost bet, but at least for the time being things seem to be on track
