Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

If CP weren't bothered about potential clashes, Sir Gerhard would surely be over hurdles this season.
    Nah, poor example.

Bumper is there to be won.... counts the same as any other festival race for better or for worse.

Both living up to expectations is a bit loaded too..... Farouk D'Alene and Ballyadam are a fairer gauge? They're more likely to be split than Ferny and Ballyadam IMO.

You can't say they ARE conclusively bothered about potential classes based on having the bumper favourite. They didn't even bother turning up to watch Envoi Allen did they?

CP are in it to win festival races, my main reasoning for splitting FH and Ballyadam.

The Barbury Castle trainer has enjoyed a good start to the season, with plenty more to come from exciting novices Don't Mind If I Do, Masaccio and Menaggio.

          Anthony Honeyball

The Mosterton maestro takes us through his team as he looks to beat his previous best training campaign for a second successive season.

I'd expect him to show his real form next time now that he's got a clear round in.

Out of his 5 Festival options my preference would be:

                1. Coral Cup
                2 Pertemps
                3 Stayers Hurdle
                4 County Hurdle
                5 Champion Hurdle

I would be vary concerned that so early they are looking to get a clear round in. He was favourite for the race. It could be he is just not up to much over fences. What do you think his 'real form' is?

I think it made complete sense to get a clear round into him. With Covid, trainers haven't been able to take their horses for racecourse spins so Novice Chasers have had to make do with being popped over what they have at the yard only which for some isn't great. I think we'll see a much improved run next time where he will be competitive as opposed to schooling in public. He's got decent enough hurdles form so if he can transfer that to fences then there's still time for him to take high rank amongst the Staying Novice Chasers this season. Well see.

                      Its N.Meade, that's the problem.

That's the one for me. Not a fan of novices in the race and he's got the kind of second season profile I really like.
Currently 147, i'm hoping he follows a path similar to Early Doors in his second season, well beaten in the Hattons Grace and future races against some very good types then dropping back in class into a handicap at the festival.

                          • "El Barra (Patrick) makes his racecourse debut in the bumper. He ran once when second in a point to point. That was two and a half years ago but he is fit and well and ready to start off here. He will handle this ground and we are hoping he will go close."

He's very interesting. Holds form with Fury Road (PTP), and the PTP's Fury Road has come from have worked out well enough including the Monkfish line.

He could well go the route of Monkfish, and end up in the Bartlett, but then again he could be a handicap option, though may be difficult to get 3 runs into prior to the festival, given it has taken this long to get him on the track in the first place.

                              • I seem to recall El Barra being tagged as a speedy one who was ultimately outstayed by Fury Road in their P2P. Probably completely out the window now after that absence but good to see him out. Shadow Rider is another who's been off a long time but was very highly regarded and has been subject to entries recently without taking them up.
