Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

It is but......he's not qualified yet ?! I know I keep barking on about it but, taking that into account, Gordon's stable tour comments make no sense at all re having a final run before the fez at Cork. I don't see a Q race for him within the Cork racing program based on last year's meetings. It's a worry as we would all have done our money!?

I wouldn't worry about it at all Lobos. Despite my assumptions, quite often trainers aren't always as clued up with the racing programme as you'd expect. We have the whole season ahead of us. If he's fit and well they'll get the run into him no bother.

Good early shout on Galvin too may I add

          • Out of interest does anyone have any of last years stable tours? See if anything adds up? What trainers plans came together and who was filling our heads full of shite?

                Yeah surprised myself too CCM.

Looking at the manner of his runs over hurdles I'd expect to see him at minimum running over the intermediate trip, possibly further, but whether that will be hurdles or fences is anyones guess right now.

Also no mention on Midnight Run, whom looked to have a fair career ahead of him before his last two starts which were beyond disappointing. I'd assume there was excuses for them as him form before that was at least on a par with Easywork.

                • Gordon Elliott's strong hint that Presenting Percy "could be one for the Grand National" in his ATR stable tour is great news for fans of Discorama.

Tiger Roll is rated 168 and Presenting Percy is on 165.

So assuming at least one of them makes Aintree it means top weight will probably carry at least 164-165 (allowing for a few pounds reduction likely to be handed to TR).

Discorama is currently rated 150 so provided they can protect that mark until the weights come out in February then he would carry 10st 9lbs or 10st 10lbs which would be almost perfect.

I've no idea if they are going for the GN with Discorama but it must be something they will consider. Felt it was a risk worth taking a while back at 50-1 with Unibet (still available). Sky go 33-1 NRNB.

And he can warm up for it by finally winning a race at the Fez!

...ha, ha, I did the Galvin (NHC)/Presenting Percy (GN) double last night. As I’m already on Discorama, I might now have to follow you in on that one.

The Cheltenham trainer was at the head of the championship until recently, with 39 winners. He will be hoping for more success with Paddy Brennan this season
