Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Is it me or are the handicaps a little later this year?

Handicap Weights Day should be 8 days after Handicap Entries so this year,
            Weds 2nd March

Unless they now issue all big race weights on Tuesdays

TO be honest the BHA are a shambles re NH information, they havent issued a "Jumps Pattern and Graded Race book" on their website since the 2019/20 season, and I have to get all my info on big British NH races fro the HRI website in Ireland.

Publications - The British Horseracing Authority

            Jump-Pattern-Book-2019-20.pdf (britishhorseracing.com)

Just wrote complaining to the BHA, on lack of clarity and openness from them on race conditions and information on big races, and what they're going to do about it.

Partly a message just to bump this, but also... with a view to Monday, are there any notable ones that are at risk of not being entered?

The two I can think of are Echoes In Rain (CH and MH) and Abacadabras (Stayers). Maybe Epatante (MH) too, although I imagine everyone who backed that has got out of it if they could already. Aspire Tower could be a possibility?

Yep, Aspire Tower the main one i am concerned about, having not (yet) cashed my 66/1 ante post for the 33/1 NRNB with PP. Squeaky bum time.

Yup I've got him too, and some Abacadabras slips with some other big shorteners. 365 didn't react quickly last time and managed to get out of a few, I suspect they won't be as generous this time.

Agreed. I cashed my 50s and 66s today and moved onto 33s NRNB. Nearly lost half the ‘value’ but with no run yet this season, it’s not a risk I want to take. Have left a 66er in a multiple.

Aye, need to make a decision now. Cashed Aba, as regardless of whether I think he'd run or not, don't see him getting anywhere near placing. KD and FP surely have 2 places sown up, and he was so far behind them in the Christmas Hurdle.

Suspect I may have to grit my teeth and do the same. Feel like he probably will be entered, but with no word on his wellbeing, would not be a surprise to see him without an entry.

Yeah. And even if he is entered they might just be preserving his position in hope more than expectation. I did the same with Appreciate It too.

Yeah, I'd be willing to give Aba another chance as it was his first go at 3m, but even so he still has a fair bit to find to worry KD, FP and maybe Champ. Was going to cash earlier but I thought there's no harm in sleeping on it incase I change my mind.

Aspire Tower is the more difficult one!
