Minella Indo - grade 1 festival form of 1,2 and will clearly be aimed at the Gold Cup.

I’m surprised we haven’t got A Plus Tard in one yet.
Not a race I like for ante post plays but I can’t see him being aimed anywhere other than Ryanair...

        Captain Guinness too.
Maybe we've had a Henry De Bromhead phobia if we haven't picked his 3 horses above.

Yes I agree with Minella Indo.

The other two I'd put forward:

Firstly Latest Exhibition in the RSA. He's possibly been the least talked about over the summer of the first four home in the Bartlett, but I prefer him to Fury Road who of the first three is a possible to go elsewhere as Gordon splits his horses up. Both Monkfish and Latest Exhibition will go here, so with the disparity in price for a neck and only just held Latest Exhibition should go into one of these. He's just the type to win an RSA, with a very capable trainer who knows the time of day, who will have a one horse and one race focus.

The second one is Lisnager Oscar. Reigning champ, and the most likely winner if its a thorough test. I've some doubts about where the pace might come from to make it a similar race to last year, but you'd think the trainer would have some kind of plan. People point to Paisley Park and him not running his race, but if Adam Wedge hadn't gone too soon the time before at the trials meeting I suspect Lisnagar Oscar would have been two for two against that one, and the first time with no excuses.

The other that probably needs covering at some point is Saint Roi.

In fact those four look like a nice ew yankee anyway so if they don't end up here I might cover them anyway in deconstructed multiples.

What about Lostintranslation? Run a big race in the gold cup this year, could improve again

Use this as you wish, but I heard a from a source that they may consider a drop back in trip. And Tizzard does have previous for dithering. He did it with Cue Card. I still expect him to turn up in the Gold Cup though, just as they did with Cue Card. Not that I think he'll be anywhere near winning off a stronger pace.

Considering LIT is 8/1 and Defi Du Seuil is 16/1
It wouldn't be a good bet on those relative value terms given there JLT run.

FWIW I would also like LIT, but at 8/1 that's definitely not worth considering for this yankee.

Not really, LiT ran a great race over a trip I consider to be too far for him, whereas Defi disgraced himself when served a CC on a plate

That's a little dismissive of Defi Du Seuil's Cheltenham form overall though isn't it?

At double the price, you can't see why Defi (who had the beating of him at the intermediate trip) is a better bet than LIT at 8/1?

LIT isn't even likely to run so he's not a good pick for the forum yankee at this stage, especially as he's single figures.

I'll suggest, Defi Du Seuil for the Ryanair, at 16/1.

I reckon defi in the ryanair would piss it on his usual form

....might have missed the boat last month on Princess Zoe (MNH), although I suppose it’s never too late.

I missed the very big price on PZ but got her in a nice winning double before it went to low

Those 3 are value personified at the moment compared to those at the top of the market. All 3 could easily end up being favourite on the day in their respective races.
