Quite a record that ! Clearly anything he runs in the above 4 need to be kept onside.
It isn't like he's drawn blanks in Gold Cups and RSA's either is it...
He's just a top trainer, narrowing it down to just 2 miles isn't really proving anything to anyone?

He is one I have also backed for the Stayers on the exchanges, 'just in case' he can't jump a fence.
He certainly was motoring at the end of the Ballymore though!

I was going to put Run Wild Fred up as a dark horse but his price is very tight with the big book makers currently. He never came to last years festival after winning a heavy ground 3 mile novice hurdle at Punchestown in mid February very well where he beat Lord Royal. Clearly he has an abundance of stamina and the right attitude from that performance so the RSA or 4 miler at Cheltenham may suit if he does go chasing this season?? There is little juice in his price for a Cheltenham virgin but could be a weapon for Gigginstown & Elliot this year. I’ve covered him the 4 miler but he’s on my list of horses to cover sooner than later.

Just been having a look at four-year-old Brandy Love who could be a contender in the Mares Novice Hurdle.
She beat the geldings when scoring a comfortable 8-lengths win in a 2m 4f maiden PTP on heavy at Cragmore in February.
Then she was bought for £200k by Willie Mullins' star scout Harold Kirk at the Tattersalls sale in Cheltenham the same month.
She's best price 25-1 for the mares novice hurdle but WH are going the same price TWAR. For some reason Hills don't seem to what to give me their bet boost any more so I haven't backed her yet.
But Brandy Love's PTP win looked pretty decent and Willie's won the mares novice hurdle five times in a row - Concertista being the only one not aged five.
I don't recall her being flagged up on the forum - anyone have a view or know any more about her?
Here's a link to a replay of her PTP win:

He's only 12/1 TWAR which is very short so going to wait until Stable tour or an entry to see what's what and before committing.Last edited by Lobos; 27 August 2020, 08:08 PM.

Beacon Edge - Noel Meade horse - All 6 races have been ran at 2M with 3 NHF races and 3 Hurdle races.
Record in the hurdle races read - 1/2/2, beaten by a nose by Jason the Miltant and beaten by a neck by Cedarwood Road with Andy Dufrense 3rd and 4 lengths behind Beacon Edge.
Record in NHF, 1/4/3, beaten 4th by Envoi Allen by 3 1/4 lengths only and beaten 3rd by Colreevy by 1 3/4 lengths only and 1 length behind Abracadabra in 2nd. Certainly not in bad company while running on the NHF.
Possible not a dark horse as the form has been strong and is linked in with the 1st post on the thread with Cederwood Road, but I will put up Beacon Edge.
The link below is just after his 2nd place finish to Jason the Miltant beaten by a nose, haven’t seen anymore news since.
What is the thoughts on Beacon Edge going Novice chasing this year?
I see he is not priced up in any markets yet would someone mind requesting him preferably on Bet365 for all Novice chases and possible throw in a few others horses when requesting as I don’t want the standard 33/1 most bookies seem to offer when requesting 1 horse. I am would only be interested in this Horse for the Arkle out of the 3 Novice chases.
Given a few on here have mentioned Andy Dufrense as possible going the Arkle route and Cedarwood Road is priced up at 40/1 for Arkle, I would certainly be interested in Beacon Edge if I could get 40/1+ preferably 50/1.
See below Noel Meade’s record in the Arkle since the year 2000;
Noel Meade Record - since 2000 - 5 Runners = 2 placed, 1 came 4th, 1 came 11th and 1 fell while leading 3 out.
1 runner - 2011 - finished 3rd - Realt Dubh
1 runner - 2006 - finished 4th - Wild Passion (13 Runners)
2 runners - 2005 - finished 4th &11th with (19 Runners)
1 runner - 2000 - fell 3 out while leading by 1 length and “still going comfortably”.
Follow horse racing with Alex Hammond on Sky Sports - get live racing results, racecards, news, videos, photos, stats (horses & jockeys), plus daily tips.
Given 4 of his 5 runners would of certainly given you a run for your money in the race not a trainer to dismiss if a runner turns up in the Arkle.
Interested to hear the thoughts on Beacon Edge.Last edited by Attaglance; 30 August 2020, 11:29 AM.
