Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

The chances of an as yet unraced novice chsser winning the Mares Chase?

    - they must he shrinking as the weeks pass.

Colreevy has got going and won two in the meantime.
But would now be penalised for a Grade 1 Novice Chase win.
No doubt ; if awaiting an entry at this time of year you
    should know your faith.

if anyone had backed her be amazed if they hadn’t cashed out

        Yes,

Willie doesn't tend to update anyone on his 'absent' horses until its too late.

ELFILE could run in any old Beginners Chase (like Laurina did) she doesn't need to wait for a Mares one.

But 10 weeks from the Festival and not even an entry in one doesnt look particularly good.

Do we think she comes here ?? I'd say Grand Annual is the plan if they are saying she'll likely keep to 2 miles . Henderson/JP love that race.

                she'd need 3 runs i think

                • She’d be going some to get three runs in for a mark and then the Grand Annual. I’d say there’s no chance she goes there, and the Mares Chase is the only practical option over fences. If she doesn’t win her novice first they’ll may even keep her novice status intact for next year and go back over hurdles.

Yes, I am sure I read somewhere that BG said the Mares Chase was the plan, and she looks very good at the end of her races over 2m5f

                    • She got badly outpaced in the greatwood last year

Then improved hugely stepping up in trip

Definitely don't see her as a grand annual horse personally

                        • I maintain, Salsaretta has been the worst favourite for an ante post race that I've seen.

Laughable that this is even a race, what a bad, bad race.

                          Get Benie over fences Willie

                            That's got to have helped.

                            • Salsaretta very disappointing there. I'm really keen on BDD for this race and this looks more likely now. Has anyone heard anything about her well being?

Definitely. I'd be thrilled, had I not had 5 points on Salsaretta in a double with Ginto for this afternoon
