If it was a very hard race 2.5weeks ago, does she really need this a month before Cheltenham?

More information for the BDD target machine too you’d think.

Got to agree with this. Why would the owners of the other horses be worried about penalties if BDD isn't running here. Unless Willie's knows where she's going...

Shattered Love.....

In the twilight of her racing career at the age of 10, the daughter of Yeats switches back to fences following a disappointing effort when last seen contesting a handicap hurdle at Navan in early December.
“This trip is a bit on the short side for Shattered Love, but I am keen to get a run into her before the new mares’ chase at Cheltenham, and this looked a nice option for her,” Elliott told Betfair.

“She’s in good form and has been ready to run again for the last few weeks, so I’m looking forward to getting her out again – and despite the distance not being ideal, I’d expect a good run from her.

“Elimay will be hard to beat, though.”

Checking the Jockey Club website and it says the Mares Chase at Cheltenham is 2m 1/2f. So if today’s distance is not ideal why will Cheltenham be any better?

I’d assumed from quotes that the Mare’s Chase was over 2 1/2m like the Mares Hurdle but it appears not?

Shattered Love still ran fine over a sharp trip yet 365 pushed her to 25/1 but now 20/1, good ew bet as the race will cut up

Surely BDD goes to the Mares Hurdle after that, can't see that WM would want to pitch her against Elimay first time out over fences for 3 years.
