A big day for prospective candidate's for this race today with Colreevy and Elimay racing. Elimay is racing in the Grade 2 against the Ryanair contenders in a very interesting move. If she wins this race against Allaho and co today she could be re-routed to the Ryanair or definitely be the new fav for the race. I’ve topped up on Elimay at 7/1 with 2pts.

I assumed she already had it winning her G2 last January, but it was obviously a novice chase, so not sure if that counts ?!

A very good point. I don't think they will want to win with her. They'll just pop her round in behind Allaho who sounds like will be trying to make all. They'll want him to win more I'd say.

I think that's possibly the deciding factor. If Elimay wins she gets penalised for the Mares Chase but proves she's good enough for the Ryanair ? She comes a close second and its a decent prep race, then she goes for the Mares Chase. WM has already highlighted in his column in the Sporting Life that this could be tough today for Colreevy but I guess he would be in a similar position if she won, albeit we know she is already penslised for the Mares Chase.

IMO WM will be dissappointed if Allaho doesn't take this today though.

Thats the way I would read it. Penalties assessed after 30/9/2019. Doesn't mention novices being different. Doesn't mention extra penalty for dual grade2.

If allaho repeats his John durkan performance she has every chance of beating him easily

Probably one of the few that doesn't fancy Colreevy. I think she will win today, but I'm not expecting anything overly impressive.
