But - I think maybe you do have the blinkers on where Benie is concerned.
Earlier in the season I - like you - thought this might be a weak race which cuts up.
But now I'm not so sure - and the uncertainty around Benie's participation makes me think others will be encouraged to give it a go - and we could end up with a big field.
Also, I think you are being rather dismissive of some of the others by saying Benie - or indeed PTKO - would trounce them.
Benie's best RPR in 3 chase runs was only 147 - yes I know they were almost 3 years ago but she was 7 at the time. In 13 starts over hurdles Benie has only twice recorded RPRs higher than 156 - 158 and 162.
Now compare those figures to a few of her opponents:
Shattered Love, commonly thought to be past her best, posted an RPR of 160 in a chase just two months ago.
Colreevy posted an RPR of 152 last time out - on only her second chase start, 5lbs better than Benie has managed over fences.
Happy Diva has recorded RPRS of 155, 154 and 152 on her last three runs over fences at Cheltenham.
Elimay also posted an RPR of 148 on her second start over fences last January. Again better than Benie managed at the same stage of her brief chasing career.
So I think it's a bit optimistic to say this will be a stroll in the park for Benie.
If Benie turns up it will be on the back of an interrupted preparation.
And she will not have jumped a fence in public for three years - or at best will have had the benefit of one prep run. Far from ideal in my book.
Imagine she will have to post around 156+ to win it and that would make it one of her top 3 rated performances ever - by no means a gimmee.
But having said all that, rest assured MoM, I'll be cheering Benie for all I'm worth.
Good luck chum.
