Got to be a little dubious that PP go 14/1 NRNB but Betfair are the absolute standout 25/1 now?

They were 20s and 33s 24 hours ago, so both have adjusted their respective markets. I do feel DDC is a great e/w play here... there’s been nothing but positives coming out from his connections and BDD aside, for me she’d bring the best hurdle / course form into the race from the likely runners.

Adjusting her but leaving her the literal biggest price though makes it look like they want to take money for her at 25/1 - which would have me wondering why...

They also haven't got hugely short NRNB compared to non NRNB firms, so they don't mind getting that in the book either?

I have to say, I'm surprised so many people have backed a horse we've never seen over a fence, for a race that's not even a novice chase... based on Nicky Henderson comments. People forget just how good Jenkins and Charli Parcs were

I did get 1.25 pts e/w with PP at 20/1 for her.... so easy for me to not take 25/1 without that concession now... I'm just putting it out there, that it's worth considering.

Just a calculated risk from Betfair/PP though surely.
She's not jumped a fence yet.

Yeah exactly.... hence people are getting carried away?

All of a sudden she seems peoples most likely winner of the race, which given everything I've said, is strange.

People have 33/1 without NRNB, you'd take a flier at that price....
People took 20/1 NRNB, safer and worthwhile.

            Current prices, meh.

I've took a 33/1 flier. Worth a go. If she won her chase prep and if Benie didn't turn up, I do think with her connections and the fact she would not carry a penalty, that she'd be close to fav ? On that basis 33/1 or 20/1 NRNB are great prices. Lots of those 'ifs' though that everyone loves !

Do you not see this race as her most likeliest target tho Kev... she’s not going down the novice route to take on Shish or Envoi surely?

Take the point re Jenkins & Charlie but this mare has already blown away a coral cup field.

Yeah it probably is, but it's just so much to be taken on faith.

The Coral Cup is probably a better quality race than this though.

I dunno, I'm not against her, I just wouldn't get carried away is all...

Is that because the funeral of Emma is delayed until next week possibly?

                      • I can’t see the field for this race reaching double figures from the antepost list, I think 9 entries Max which is what makes an antepost price of 25/1 for the Dame attractive

I expect that's why yes. Good point.

Not sure anyone can make much of a case for anything asides from these now as the likeliest runners. Hard to see a double figure field i’d agree.

Oh please Willie if you’re reading this send the good thing here. Benie would destroy this lot on the snaff. It would be the easiest festival win of your life Willie.

Daughter in law of JP McManus who died recently. He cancelled his planned runners upon hearing the news of her death.
