Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    • Interesting stuff.

I don't think BDD connections will be running scared of Honeysuckle after yesterday's run. I think most here would fancy BDD to beat Ronald Pump by more than a neck, even first time out.

        • Until PP made a significant market move, I still thought it was odds on she'd run in the Mares Hurdle... I won't ignore this market move (although had already got myself into a pretty good spot!), however this doesn't mean it's a forgone conclusion. This is still a risky bet in my opinion, especially as we know she's currently sidelined.

However, 10/1 is a very fair, calculated risk bet.

The price won't last, Ladbrokes have already cottoned on...

I'll look to add a few choice multiples with her at that price.

            First run and will progress

The challenge for Benie is the turn of speed Honey has.

Arguably, heavy ground last year should have helped Benie if she was going to beat Honey in a match

At 10, be harder if more normal Cheltenham ground and also I think Benie had a minor setback?

Though, definitely on ratings thus far, Benie still most likely to beat Honey in Mares.....and Epatante best Mare in training

I agree that BDD is the most likely mare to beat Honeysuckle at the moment, but little splits them on ratings, and everything went right for BDD last year and she still lost. I am struggling to see why WPM would be in a rush to take on Honeysuckle again, and whilst targets remain up in the air, the one constant with WPM is targeting the 'easiest' race. I know there are exceptions like Annie Power, but at 10 and post a small set back, I can't see WPM throwing BDD into deep water as there isn't any point. Honeysuckle counts as deep water and the mares chase looks a softer target, at the moment.

Managed to grab another point and a little double with ABP, was in the process of adding more when the price was cut.

                      • I was in process of placing a series of doubles with Betfred when they cut from 10s to 6s.

                          • Surely has to be a serious amount money down to make that cut?

I think bet frequency has just as much to do with it as volume of money (bookies have software to track it), but I could be drastically wrong as that's just a guess.

Whats the bet UTA tip up BDD for the Mares Chase tomorrow night

                                Agreed.

I think a lot of people backing her out of the blue on 30th Nov would flag up that level of activity which would be unusual ; as well as bookies coming back in to line with PP.
