    • ZANAHIYR wins this impressively

I dont get Quix, looks like big lump. If GE still owned them both, then Quix could have ran earlier in the week against my good friend Jeff Kidder
That Alan King horse is a lay all day for me, although I dont have money to lay lol. Poor jumper, that crappy kempton race also kicks up hype horse, every bloody year... and they do jack shite in this race

Also not saying Zanahiyr isn't good, just a punting stable made their call

There was a time when I'd hold off on Triumph bets until the Adonis had been run due to Soldatino and Zarkandar winning both in consecutive years, but have just checked, and the most recent of these was 10 years ago (time flies as you get older!). Tritonic certainly looked impressive enough but could end up being another Solo - with everything else that's happened this week, he'd have to be pretty tasty to beat the Irish challengers.

          • Tritonic to hopefully prove the doubters wrong

Surely the UK trainers will win one race tomorrow, this might be it lol

            • With ballyadam running well below his best

And envoi not looking himself at all

              I'm worried about Quillixios tomorrow

i was quite happy with my position on him and tritonic to take on zanahiyr with but now the two other ex elliot horses at Henry's have bombed and the irish are winning every race

Some creative freedom with the first two sentences?

Did Ballyadam "bomb"? He's finished 2nd in the Supreme, would have been 3rd.... two 2x Willie Mullins horses? Beat the rest?

Envoi Allen - "not looking himself at all" - that's just such a generic bit of waffle? How does Envoi Allen running for a few fences then falling impact Quilixios really?

Is that "bombing", do you believe Envoi Allen "bombed" - you can't believe it?

                Metier "bombed" ? Envoi Allen didn't.... it's a non-arguement.

                • Envoi was keen down to post and on his toes at the start which for a horse who is normally very relaxed that is definitely him not looking himself kev

And ballyadam ran way below the level he ran to at the DRF

The irish also haven't won every race so you maybe shouldve made a funny comment about that too

                  Maybe those were isolated incidents

                  Maybe ballyadam hated the track
Maybe envoi just had an off day

but I'm concerned nevertheless and there's a chance the horses haven't bedded in at Henry's like Sir Gerhard and Galvin did at their new trainers

(Hopefully my nitpicking and worrying ensures he runs a blinder haha)

But how does Envoi Allen being keen and on his toes affect Quilixios? For starters, they went to different stables?

Ballyadam came 2nd to Appreciate It, again.... "well below form" I'd dispute... I think Appreciate It was below form last time they met, this is a fairer reflection of their ability.

Doesn't even need to be "an off day", he just fell... everybody makes mistakes at some point. It's cost him today, that's it. There are enough horses that have moved from Gordon's yard run well to dismiss the theory IMO. There was one called Galvin...

I could have picked up on the Irish thing too but I knew that one was a joke - although ironically, the thing you said that I agreed with the most

They both went to De Bromhead no?

                      • Quilixios must look more appealing to everyone now, beat appreciate it on times in dublin, now having the best jockey on top on a course that should play to his strengths which is galloping! Only concern would be the ground but im happy to have him as my one and only dart

You cant take the times in isolation as the races were run completely different... quixinos had saint Sam to set the pace and have something aim at.

appreciate had to make his own running and obviously a wasnt going to set it at breath taking speed to dampen his own chances

                          • If envoi had fallen when beaten then you could say he bombed and Ballyadam made a bad mistake 2 out which didn't help his cause.

It’s either a negative or positive

I watched his 3 bumpers, in the first it looked like he took a while to get moving. He was impressive at fairyhouse, and he shown use his class and ability to win slowly run races lto

I can see why they’d stick one on him after watching the first bumper

... nothing concerning about tongue ties, I see it as a minor positive, and hopefully we see him run a fantastic race
