The following all hold entries for the HIT sale later this month. He has a few more but these all have RPRs of 100+ this season. None of them have been withdrawn at this stage though so they may well be free to go anywhere...

    Cormorant
    Royal Dornoch
    Fort Myers
    Keats
    Shoshone Warrior
    Iberia
    Nobel Prize
    Monument Valley
    New World Tapestry
    Royal Lytham
    Persia

Preview is up for that race on the juvenile hurdlers thread.

The Morans bought this one off Willie's missus and Bring On The Night will be another running in their colours.
Isn't Bring On The Night owned by Joe Donnelly?

Zanahiyr and Dark Voyager are both declared for Saturday's race at Ballinrobe along with a Noel Meade pair who already have placed form, a one time 85 rated flat recruit and conspicuous underachiever Belgoprince. Could be a cracking little race for the venue.
        Triumph Best prices
        Dark Voyage 33/1
        Zanahiyr 50/1

Looks like the bookmakers will price up the Mullins contender as fav too tomorrow?

Kotkijet - you see it differently I see.

            They both are... Sorry :/

I just found myself getting tremendously excited about the upcoming sales. Or at the very least my relative mastery of the excel skills required to build this list of sales entries alongside their sires' winners to runners ratios and official flat ratings...

Gleneagles should read 33.33% after Cabot Cliff's win at Uttoxeter...

Opinion seems pretty split on Zanahiyr while only one firm has Dark Voyager listed thus far. The tissues currently have the Mullins horse ahead but I think Nathaniel over Raven's Pass plus Zanahiyr's general attitude tips the balance for me.

            • For a relatively new NH sire.
Nathaniel's already produced - Concertista & Burning Victory.
How many has he had in total go novice hurdling Kotkijet ? Any idea ? Is it 10 to have run ?

Not sure about novices in general but this is what he's done with UK/IRE juvenile hurdlers thus far.

                • Who decided to call a horse 'Given Name' - that's shite.

                    Cheers.
Marju put me off when I was looking at backing Zanahiyr.
But his dam was actually useful herself, so I went for it.

Maybe the Tinklers are fans of former Newcastle, Man City and ROI goalkeeper Shay Given?

Yeah, his record as a damsire is better than that as a sire (Lake Champlain, Ultimate, Habesh) but it's still on the iffy side of average (six winners from thirty-five). Nevertheless, the dam was useful as you say, Darshann is a good jumps influence and the sire has a bigger impact than the damsire. Plus there are plenty of other useful hurdlers on the damline.

                      • "He's a nice horse and not just a juvenile"

Elliott yesterday after Zanahyir won his maiden.

What the Fuck does that mean ?

Anyway, I thought he looked useful - but who knows at this stage.
I'd like to think the front 2 who finished are quite smart types, but we'll see as the season progresses.

                        • Thank you for all your hard work Kotkijet, I backed Zanahiyr with confidence yesterday which wouldn’t have been the case without all your analysis.

Yet to back a horse for the Triumph this year, will avoid mistakes of the past few years and bide my time I think. Hell Red looked good, looking forward to seeing Monmiral out...

I wondered that myself. Is it a very backwards way of saying he’s one for next season?

Yep, especially after running him in October and having just broke his maiden.

                              • Nice win yesterday but wouldn't be one that I would want onside as a Triumph hurdle proposition at this stage anyway.

One that was flagged up in Mark Howards top 40 if I remember right.
