Spot on Lobos , I like how jockey taught him to race and he ran through the line strong. Happy with my 25/1 but early days to say he the one to beat.

Hell Red was far sleeker & looked to have a lot more schooling/work done but March is a long way away, Quilixios was very green early on, looking around everywhere, thought he may have run out at one stage, but sharpened up to the task nicely in the end, Gordon will have left plenty of improvement in the tank

I find that boring, its like saying..dont be betting on the triumph until february because thats when we will see a french import who will 100% win the triumph so all other efforts are pointless

Funny though how a couple a days ago it was too early to get involved now it seems it is the right time. Where are all those people who were saying Triumph Hurdle winners don't appear at this time pf the year?

Think stats like that have gone out of the window this season due to the early lockdown. Decent horses have come back in earlier and we are seeing them out earlier. This will be a season like no other.

Nope. Has not hosted a juvenile race between October and March for as far as I can see. Plus the only horses to have raced there ahead of achieving seasonal RPRs above 130 have been Clarcam and Way Back Home. There are other races set for Tipperary, Sligo and Galway during the week afterwards so Zanahiyr might also get entries in one or two of those.

Zanahiyr and Dark Voyager are both declared for Saturday's race at Ballinrobe along with a Noel Meade pair who already have placed form, a one time 85 rated flat recruit and conspicuous underachiever Belgoprince. Could be a cracking little race for the venue.

Won his only start in a Newmarket maiden last October by five lengths and appeared alongside the word "Derby" in certain conversations. However, injury interrupted these ambitions and he has still yet to return to the racecourse. The form of his Newmarket win is fine and although Richard Hughes has yet to win from his four runners in juvenile hurdles, his owners are no strangers to jumps horses and Brentford Hope is the only horse who appears in all of the available lists. Camelot has had a fine start with jumpers (Sir Erec and Gardens Of Babylon) so while there is a lot of uncertainty at this stage, he be an interesting horse to see over hurdles.

Since 2010, sixteen three year old colts or geldings for more than 100,000 guineas have been sold under the Balding name and Brentford Hope, with his rating, will easily fetch that kind of money if sent to auction. Of those sixteen horses, only Torcello (officially rated 93), Powder Hound (91), Never Do Nothing (91), Flaxen Flare (83) and The Graduate (90) raced as juvenile hurdlers. Berkshire Royal (86), who ran for the same owners, did join Willie Mullins but only made his debut in the Supreme after missing his juvenile season. The rest of those who ran again did so either in the Middle East or in Australia. Annoyingly, simply typing Balding into the RP sales search will not provide a comprehensive list of all of his previous inmates since Lethal Steps, for example, was consigned by agent Jamie Railton. Nevertheless, even if we are to assume that Brentford Hope does go to auction, it is statistically likelier that a horse of his calibre will be heading for warmer climes.

Having blown me away on debut (still love saying that) - he has been expensive to follow, going off fav for the next 3 races - and I backed him in all 3.

Of course I didn't know he was running today and he bolts up.

Dawn Rising is the only one I know of thus far.

The following all hold entries for the HIT sale later this month. He has a few more but these all have RPRs of 100+ this season. None of them have been withdrawn at this stage though so they may well be free to go anywhere...
