Saying all that just stick Bryony on him and all jockes will be busy looking at her arse and happily sit behind letting her dictate
When you have doubts like this, which are valid for obvious reasons, I'd tend to go further and also look at his breeding, which is also full of milers in his close relations.

I remember doing this for Band of Outlaws whose dad was Fast Company and grandad was Danehill dancer, both milers or shorter. And not much stamina on dam side either.
I was very much against him having the stamina to win a strongly run Fred Winter.
    It didn't end well.

Don't get me started on Jockey's arses, it'll go wrong very quickly.

    • I'll have my free tenner on quilixios after all he's made from feathers so he should have wings. I did however have twenty on French Aseel @16's on the of chance that he might join Willie's yard and Willie can make a set of wings for French Aseel and make the playing field equal.

Most probably ran over a bit further at some stage.
It was definitely a thing around that time to look for milers (10f horses) off the flat.
It's become a lot more NH Frenchy these days.
Its more frenchy due in parts to the restriction being lifted in 2010 that barred any 3yo that had won in france prior to the season from racing as a novice in the uk, after 2010 it opened up the triumph!/fred winter for them and made sense to plunder french winners.

Nassalam is a fair price at EVS for Saturday, based on this list, and also RPR's he is far superior to Houx Gris and Adagio.

Looks like a potential Triumphs some potential Boodles runners off level weights.

              • Does Gordon usually keep his first string juvenile sheltered. We haven’t seen Quilixios much and just trying to see if possibly they think he is their number one?

Hasn't the travel ban scuppeted his entries for Cheppy this week in fairness ?

They've been trying to run him but keep getting knocked back.

I'm sure Jack kennedy or Keith said they thought Zanahiyr was slightly the better of the 2 in an interview somewhere. Has Quilixios qualified for the boodles now or does he need another run?

I’d say there’s next to no chance he ends up in the Boodles. CPS haven’t spent 400,000 or whatever on him for him to go to the Boodles

They spend that money and run in the Bumper though, and that's less prize money than the boodles.
I think if Gordon said they should run in that race, they'd consider it.
And likely tell him to get knotted

The Champion Bumper, as I believe is its title, is the premier NH Flat race in the UK calendar, the Boodles isn’t even the best 4yo race in the week.

Been plenty of talk about prize money in here recently and whilst I’m sure it’s a consideration for the smaller owner/syndicate I can’t believe the likes of Giggs, Ricci and Cheveley Park are motivated by money alone, if that was the case surely they’d buy a bunch of staying flat horses and target the Ebor and Melbourne Cup every year...

So it's winning races then ?
