The only interesting thing about that Chepstow juvenile is the mark allotted to Quilixios by the UK handicapper. If Gordon and Cheveley fancied a sure fire Cheltenham winner.................................Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Anyone know when the decs have to be in for racing on the 27th ?
was going to take a bit of a stab in the dark on ha d’or Antepost if he got declared for leopardstown in the Knight Frank
50s would be worth a small punt giving connections

I very much doubt Gordon is eying up a plot at the FW with Quilixios. I’d imagine he has the graded race at Leopardstown lined up for him & if he obliges they’ll both be on track for the Triumph.
I rate Zanahir highly but I’m quietly confident Quilixios will be better suited to the stamina test Cheltenham will provide. He looks a serious prospect for staying chases down the line & history tells us the Triumph throws up future stayers more so than CH types!

This contest will shake up the betting on a couple of levels, who will WM stable jockey opt to ride and obviously the outcome of the race.
I noticed that Ruby called this wrong when he indicated that Quilixious would turn out here and Zanahiyr Leopardstown later.Last edited by Redbridge; 23 December 2020, 10:36 AM.
