Sheff Utd are flying, look clear second best team in Championship and Hiull are struggling, I snared the 1.81 on betfair earlier but at around 8/11 they represent a 72% price boost which looks OK to me...

      You may well be right.
I never saw a ball kicked but followed the score in horror, back to the drawing board….

I highlighted Celtic the other week and ended up with the same scoreline as you did

        • Was scouting around for something to use as a roll up, and thought real madrid are well overpriced to beat man city tonight, so I took the 8/5 on them "draw no bet" with pp, better might be available elsewhere I'm not sure but it suits me on pp.

City are still a mess at the moment, they get a result now and then that makes people think they are on the way back but they're still a shambles defensively. Conceded four against psg, and then five against arsenal. Madrids front four are all fit, and they are capable of ripping citys defense apart tonight. The only thing stopping me from going in too heavy is madrid are having a bit of an injury crisis at the back and city are still capable going forward, but nevertheless ive chanced madrid for a couple of roll ups.

If he starts at right back then Matheus Nunes 9/2 to be booked will be the bet I’ll use for a roll up tonight. Vini Jnr will turn him inside out and the only way he’ll stop him is to foul him

One of my main reasons for fancying madrid a lot, walker has been very important the last few times they've played using his pace to mark vinicius. Whoever is against him tonight won't be as effective.

The 9/2 looks good, my only worry with those specific player bets is theres more that can go wrong imo. Nunes could get destroyed in the first 20 minutes but could switch positions with gvardiol or something before he gets a yellow. But the 9/2 is probably worth it as it does look big.

Was looking at the total goals markets too as a lot of cits games against top teams lately have been high scoring. Evens for over 3.5, 11/2 for over 5.5.

              • I've done madrid @ 12/5 in a double with kopek des bordes, trying to get a bit on him for supreme, as like many I'm on turners, apart from a little on any race from last summer.

Akanji starts ahead of Nunes and I’d say Akanji is even more of a car crash waiting to happen. So used him at 9/2 to be booked in with Dinoblue 9/2 and Wodhooh 9/1

You sure he'd play there and not Ake?

I don't know like but could be either. Not that it'll definitely stop either getting booked.

I'd already added to my loses, was watching Exeter forest game and checked scores on my phone with about five minutes left, city leading 2 - 1, just flicked sky sports news on to see the final score !

                        • It’s obviously very short but an absolute certainty at 1/5 that ought to be 1/50 is India to make the champions trophy semi finals. There’s just no chance that doesn’t land and boosting a 10s shot to 12s etc isn’t to be sniffed at.

                            Edit : boosted to 3/1 with 365

Broke well but pulled up on the first turn, hope he'll be okay

                            • TLDR: Ignore me (you should have learnt by now anyway) and back Barnet, bet of the century anything bigger than 1/10 [sarcastic smiley face thing but probably turn out to be right/]

*I'm not going to make much of a case(Edit: Turns out I am, and not a very good one) for it as it's a dart job for money down the back of the sofa, but it's 1st v 2nd in the mighty National League tonight and York 5/6 'double chance' is a rare bit of ok pricing for us this season, with a big disclaimer** you'll be bored with shortly if still reading.
Barnet home form is mint (W13,D3,L0) and our away form is ropey (W6,D5,L3) which is where this post should probably have ended and been deleted, but it's generally not in these sort of games we struggle and 4 out of our 5 defeats this season overall were essentially because the manager ripped up the system that works so well and the only times he had. Seems to have learnt that lesson judging by Saturday which would have been one he'd normally mess about with, but we'll see later** (If Watson is in goal and/or Pearce starts out wide with Stones up top then rob B&Q for every wheelbarrow they have and lump on Barnet. Well, don't, but we genuinely become a relegation battle level team instantly).
York won the reverse fixture 3-1 despite Barnet looking one of the best i've seen at this level, two really evenly matched sides. We spunked another £300k+ on a striker in the Jan window (Stones) despite having the leagues top scorer (Pearce) (and another £250k striker, although since out injured) and he arguably changed the game on Sat, they both offer something different but so far the evidence is the system only works if one starts.
York are taking 1100 down which will be 1/3 of the crowd and using Oldham fan logic guarantees at least 3 points. Team haven't had to worry about the travel as they've made a 4 day trip of it with being in London on Sat too. Parkin is no longer at the club so it's unlikely they'll have spent most of it on the piss (Ah, Dover away...). York are also a half-brother to Kopeck De Mee.

*Some/most of this post may be untrue and/or a load of excitable bollocks.
