  • Personally think Humphries is mad overpriced for the world's at 3s in places. Littler hype driving the price but Humphries is still the man, has the form, has the trends. They're the wrong way around

Wont the 2 lukes meet in the semis? Open play in the other half for a big price finalist .

Yes they are seeded to meet in the semis, plus I may be wrong but I think LH is seeded to face Stephen bunting in the quarter final too which is as tough a quarter final as you could get. Littler has won more major tour titles than Humphries since the worlds, more world tour titles as well. I think he’s a lot more than hype and a worthy favourite imo. He’s higher ranked also in every regard except the PDC order of merit that determines the seeding for the worlds. Littler is ranked number one on the World Series (LH ranked 4) and number 2 on the pro tour (LH ranked 3).

All this said I REALLY want Luke Humphries to retain his title, he is undoubtedly an outstanding talent, but listening to him speak yesterday evening I think even he wouldn’t be surprised if Littler improved to an unattainable level someday. They are two exceptional players and the PDC ranking system has sadly denied us the possibility of a repeat. I just hope whoever gets through to the final on the other side of the draw can compete.

Anderson is a good each way price for that reason imo, but whoever wins that semi wins the trophy imo

I've went for LH outright, Anderson to reach the final (due to the Draw) Then a small bet on Smith with PP who giving free bets on every 180 he hits in 1st round!

            • Celtic 6/5 away at Ibrox looks a decent bet. I know the league cup final between them was a score draw and perhaps Rangers were a bit unlucky with a penalty not given by VAR but they rarely have two good old firm games in a row these days.

Celtic well ahead in the league and usually good for a goal or two against a team with a few injury issues.

              • Trying one tonight. Using Denise's money from Wolverhampton i have put it back on 20.30 Ash Wednesday 8/11 and Hunter Chase,Its On The Line which gives me about 5/1 Double. If it no work i have lost sweet FA
LANDED. Hunter Chase finished with unless the shit hits the fan.

                • Caldwell potter wins on the snaff tomorrow

6/5 a perfect roll up opportunity

                  Got nothing to beat

Best jumper, best horse, best jockey, best trainer.

Runs to form he wins. Simples.

What could possibly go wrong .

                    Yeah, like him too.

Used him to get Brighterdaysahead covered for the Champion Hurdle

Maybe the drying ground. Its just enough to put me off, still think he'll win though but there's an excuse there.

                        • I thought Caldwell potter might have bounced the last day.
We’ll see if he’s better today.
form of his first run is ok, even if at a low level

                          • Running 12 days apart after over 12 months off the track is classic bounce factor territory.
Anyone unsure what bounce factor is.
Roughly speaking it’s like when you exercise for the first in ages and your muscles ache a few days after.
Some horses will not show obvious signs of this. Was a very strange entry and choice from Nichols.
Normally a good month should be ok.

                            • Surely Nicholls usual Jan form would be a concern.

Eventually one will go in but I wouldn’t want to be going too heavy given the history of his Jan runners.

His whole season hasn't been usual though has it ?
