Absolutely, why let Gordon and Willie win the weak Grade 1s like the Royal Bond and Drinmore, when you can prime one to have a big chance against them.

        Good luck to him.

Yes, sums up Gavin and I'm not knocking him at all, but a G1 is a G1. We forget sometimes how training yards beneath the top tier need to keep doing it year on year, or those owners dry up sharpish. Becoming a Cromwell thing, getting out of the starting blocks early doors.

Carrying on Gordon’s torch in that regard, definitely. One he gives them a breather in the new year it’s definitely a shrewd plan.

            • USC v Oregon college football next week. Over 71.5 points at 10/11 is absolutely printing money. There will be something like 85 points minimum. Spread was 83.5 for USCs game yesterday against Washington and there was 94 points. When Oregon played Washington there was 80 points. Now USC play Oregon and the spread is as low as 71.5 which to me is outrageous.

It’ll be a shoutout. It’ll be a point fest. Hammer that overs line.

After so long out through injury and this being his first race in public, do you not think they'll just look after him tomorrow? It looks a tricky race so it won't be an easy start. Maybe just a watching race perhaps.

I mean, if he's going to be winning a novice hurdle at the festival, he'd want to be winning his maiden tomorrow aslong as he jumps well etc.

Rob's gave a pretty glowing mention for him, so can't really see him being undercooked.
