  • The stewarding is crap because it's largely impractical to challenge them unless there's a big pot involved.

My horse had a result reversed at the end of last season at Warwick. He jumped out to the right at the final hurdle and crossed over in front of the horse he was reversed with. There was daylight between them and no interference was caused, but the stewards still called the jockeys in and held an inquiry. The other connection hadn't objected, and despite both jockeys agreeing no actual interference was caused, and the crossing was in the act of jumping a hurdle they still reversed the race and Jeff was demoted to second. Dan Skelton called it singularly the worst decision he'd seen from any stewards.

If I appealed it I would almost certainly win. The problem is to challenge it I have to have legal representation and I have to go down to London. So for a four grand race I'd be out of pocket when they reverse the decision back, which is utter bollox and why stewards end up largely unaccountable.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

    • Taken from my diary post:

Hibs v Rangers today I think provides a good roll up opportunity on betfair sportsbook - Hibs to receive the most cards - evens

Willie Collum is ref today...who makes Mike Dean (thank god he's retired) look clean as a whistle when reffing spurs - will be sure that he'll keep his hand in his pocket if the old firm go in for a few... It's fair to say it feels like Rangers will commit three times as many fouls before they get a booking, and in a sure to be feisty affair, can see Hibs clocking up some fouls and bookings.

Using it to double up with:

      Flooring Porter - stayers, 1 point double - 12/1
      Mighty Potter - Arkle - 1 point double - 18/1
Brandy Love - Mares hurdle - 1 point double 16/1 - fecking determined to get her on side somehow!!

ps. for anyone bluenoses out there, I'm an Arsenal fan - nothing against you lot

Haha - turned out to be an appalling pick with Rangers getting two red cards

For anyone offended by my Mike Dean or Rangers comments, my apologies. I was just excited at the thought of rolling up Brandy Love

            • Al Karrar - 3:41 Ripon - 6/5

The form of his 2nd behind Royal Scotsman is good and I'm a big fan of RS. back to Listed company it's a drop in competition and on a line through Chateau is 4 lengths clear of the 2nd fav.

On ratings he is a minimum of 10lb clear of his rivals and they run off levels.

Doubled with Mighty Potter at 30.5/1 gets MP to targeted returns for the Arkle.

              • Cam Norrie to win 3-0
Cam Norrie to win 1st set 6-0,6-1,6-2
                Cam Norrie 5+ aces

to be rolled up with Luccia (mares novice) 84/1 (Freebet)

Dont want to be using up cash this far out on this race so a freebet being used to hopefully get her onside.

                        • Could do worse than using Haaland anytime for all future roll ups. Not much value of course, but he's living up to the hype.

                            • Mane shot on target is 4/6 with 365 but skybet is 1/4, big difference for a player who has had 11 SOT in 6 games this season

Pirou for Swansea a shot on target is 4/7 and has 14 in 7 games for SOT this season

Double is 1.61 so I’ll look to combine with Delta Work and maybe Energumene in separate trebles.

Sickening this as Mane failed to have a shot and was subbed on 70, other player got a SOT in the first 5 mins.
