Dolphins -3 is a handy roll up to give me e/w essentially for free at 10/11 (able to do this on 365)
Saints will be giving Ian Book a debut as their top 2 QBs are out and the Dolphins are on a hell of a streak.
Yeah nice call.
I spent alot of yesterday arguing with a contact about which was a better play, Fins -3 or unders, I settled on unders and he played the handicap, but disappointingly I never thought about using it in roll ups...
Got a hunch about Voix De Reve in the 1.40 at Musselburgh on New Years Day. 25/1 rank outsider.
Generally has run over 2m, but goes 2.5m here. Last time he did that was in a handicap chase at the Ayr Festival in April where he ran an RPR of 154 off a chase mark of 156. Over 2m last year, he came second in 2 good races at Musselburgh, including the New Years Day race. In these races, he recorded RPRs of 147 and 150 off hurdle marks of 145 and 146 respectively.
He runs tomorrow off 139 having needed the run (in my opinion and based on a lot of previous form) first time out - not given a hard time once outpaced/ran out of steam after 3 out, and being completely outclassed in the Fighting Fifth last time (note, he ran in the same race last year before the New Years Day 2nd). Crucially, in both races he was allowed to come home in his own time meaning his mark could be reassessed. Consequently, his mark has dropped from the 149 of the Morebattle to 139 now after only one more hurdle run and that was in a race he had no chance in.
Just got a hunch something fishy is going on and we are going to see a trainers representative state he's improved for the step up in trip and the re-application of the cheekpieces.
I've trebled with Ferny and Honey for a 130ish/1 treble on day 1
Can anybody tell me why Australia at 15/8 is not absolutely ridiculous value?
Think the weather forecast for Sydney is pretty bad with rain forecast for every day of the test. That being said, Australia will probably only need 2 days to win
Tomorrow looks to be the worst of it, although there is definitely a threat everyday. Almost tempted to wait until tomorrow morning, hope Day 1 has been a washout and that odds are increased.
There's other cricket to get stuck into Gents, Joburg looks an interesting wicket so wouldn't put anyone off using the unders (runs) in roll ups, and tonight is day five of NZ/Banga test, I've laid the draw but Banga should be shorter than the 23/20 Unibet quote...
