  • Im trying and trying to get envoi and shishkin (landed a roll up on shishkin last week!) on side at big odds..tried a monday night 7 fold ending in, envoi, shishkin, shewearsitwell, epatante and ferny hollow in the supreme..if they all land ill be chuffed to have all of them! Sat in the van eating lunch so a fiver with a quid on each of these bets is worth a go..i may play this every night this week because for me its well worth a go..obviously ill back the football bet on its own! Because the one time
Id ever land a 7 fold would be typical im not on it for an actual pay out

        • Good Boy Bobby has a decent amount in hand tomorrow in the 2.00 at Bangor.

I'll be disappointed if he doesn't win.

          Currently 8/11.

I'll chance him with Minella Indo at 18/1 to make up for the fact I can't get on the 16/1 with BFSB.

          2 points.

          • I think there is massive value in if the cap fits 5/1 & the great breakaway 8/1 (1/5 each way 1,2,3 places) For the kauto star novice chase at Kempton Boxing Day.

Both are being aimed at the race as said by trainers in their stable tours. Looking through potential British trained novice chasers these 2 look the bet ones around and I could easily see them going off one of them around 2s or 4s max. It’s normally a max field of 7 and raking these 2 out there doesn’t seem to be many top class British novice chasers for this year. Both these horses are around 16/1 20/1 for the RSA but in this race pretty much there will be no Irish horses coming over for it.

I recommend max each way bets on both horses at 5/1 and 8/1

Could easily be used as roll up horses

Thanks FJ69 - I thought If The Cap Fits was being aimed at the rising stars chase at Wincanton or will he use that race as a stepping stone on to the Feltham?

                  • Below is the quote from Harry fry after if the cap fits after his win.

If The Cap Fits made a perfect start to his chasing career with an emphatic success on Sunday in the novice Chase at Ffos Las.

We had only two opponents in the race over two miles, five furlongs but they were both strong in the market even though If The Cap Fits was almost a stone clear of them on hurdles ratings.
While his schooling had been good at home, drying ground conditions meant that nearly all of it took place over brush hurdles on our all weather gallop though he did jump six fences on the grass two weeks ago after heavy rain.

So it wasn’t the greatest surprise on Sunday that he was a bit novicey early before warming to his task with the help of a brilliant ride by Daryl Jacob who let him find his rhythm before easing him into the race in the final straight.
If The Cap Fits came alive in the last half mile, soon led, attacked the last like a fresh horse and won as he liked.
It was so exciting to watch given that he had a nice blow and will improve for the experience and the run.
I am so pleased for his owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede who stepped in to buy him when the Rooney’s decided to concentrate on their team of flat horses.

I’d say I’ve never had a novice chaser of the calibre of If The Cap Fits who is likely to run next at Wincanton in the Rising Stars Chase, ground permitting. If all goes well there then it will be on to Kempton over Xmas for the Kauto Star Chase.

                      • If the Cap Fits is a very talented horse but having been almost exclusively racing on right handed or flat tracks or both, I couldn’t fancy him for any Cheltenham race.
Good to use him in roll ups with others obviously...

                        • Yes that’s why I Think he’s Got a great chance in the kauto star on a flat track against probably only British trained horses than at Cheltenham where he doesn’t like against all the top Irish 3 mile novice chasers

This is one reason why I'll leave him unbacked for the festival. Also factor in his age for me.

I've actually cashed this out now, managed to get the 16/1 this morning.

For only a 2 point increase it's no longer worth it.

I still think Good Boy Bobby will win though.
