Raging I forgot all about this! Damm it! Probably put the scud on Juntas Ganomos now! Few roll ups with Marine National and Galeic Warrior

    • Juntos Ganamos falls. At least Jigme came through.

Always the last one, and its always a faller (jockey unseat)

Would have reeled the leader in with ease you'd have thought

Yeah he's well clear of the first two. Just one of those things.

            • Backed Captain Teague on Friday at a little better than evens for the time being - curious who others see as his main threats?

I'm looking forward to this race, as personally I'm hoping CT doesn't see the trip out, the problem is there is a lack of opposition but Kinbara will make sure the race is about stamina, so I'm looking at playing him E/W.

Space Tourist ran a good race LTO too, and could be interesting.

It's all very much dependent on whether Captain Teague stays the trip as 2m5f at Cheltenham takes some getting and is a fair Bartlett trial, IMO.

Is it on the new course?

Which is why he'll end up in the bartlett.

Obviously possible, I'm hoping not though

Hmmm. If CT wins that well, Nicholls might have second thoughts about what his Cheltenham race might be.

                          • Weveallbeencaught (WABC) is 9/1 with some firms but 7/2 with Hills for The Horse's Mouth Podcast Novices' Chase on Saturday. I think thats excellent roll up material. Sam chose him vs Flooring Porter and it looked like he needed the run IMO. NTD loves WABC and has likened him to Imperial Commander. Not suggesting thats what he'll become for one second, but I thought his chase debut was quietly very good. All eyes were on FP but he went about his business professionally and ran with real credit. Im looking at the market and to me it just looks all wrong. Good Risk and Mister Coffey are joint favourites. The former has question marks to answer re trip and the latter is a complete pig of a horse. Broadway Boy is a good horse but he had race fitness on his side and I expect Sam to choose WABC who will reverse the form. I love Sam Twist Davies around Cheltenham, he rides the course so well and gets the absolute max out of his rides. Trelawne is very interesting for local trainer Kim Bailey but IMO he's too short given he's never been to Cheltenham. I think 9/1 is a really good roll up price about WABC and I think chunks will come for him and that price will collapse. Hope he gets declared or I might have egg on my face.

Hermes Allen won the same trial last season though and looked like he could go round again.
Still ended up in the Ballymore.
I think if this horse does similar, it's the way Hermes Allen looked in the Ballymore that may sway him to go a different way this year. Will depend on how the Irish challenge is looking though, he ignored the clue Nigel's horse gave him last season also.

Pretty sure it's the old course for October and November meetings, then the December and Jan meetings is when they switch to the new course
