Hewick has to be an absolute certainty today surely.
I've had a decent go at 11/8 but for you roll up merchants throwing him in with one or two Cheltenham selections and giving those horses a 137% price boost must appeal...
Aye, heavy fall in the GC the concern isn't it. Got to hope that's not left a mark. But otherwise you'd have to say he has a great chance today. Two non completes in his last three starts is probably holding the price up a bit. But they were tired mistakes in very (different but) highly competitive races. He should be winning this more comfortably though, so I'm not so concerned and I'm in!
Change in jockey worth a mention as well but not concerned by that much either.

Word of warning, IPL want every game to be competitive, it’s in no-one’s interests to have teams tailed off with no hope of qualifying with multiple games to play, so don’t assume that top v bottom is always going to favour the favourite, plenty of these late/latish groups stage games go against the grain….

So right about now you can get manipulated results.
I’ve just seen todays result but didn’t see a ball so I have no idea it was a genuine game, the scores suggest it was a slow heap but like I say I never saw a ball bowled.
I used to trade IPL for years but don’t anymore so don’t follow but this is just something to keep in mind, IPL want everyone in with a chance of qualifying at deep as possible in the tournament and they’re not shy in making sure that happens…
