MVG doesn't hit as many 180s as he could.. he does spice them up with a 177 or that, even at the start of a leg.. I found this out the hard way in his round of 16 game and just stopped backing him on 180s as it was so frustrating seeing him hit 170+ repeatedly
I would rather be on MVG at 7/4 than Smith at 8/15 for most 180s but you could be in for a frustrating evening if MVG comes away from triple 20 after hitting it with his first 2 darts

All valid, but Smith's 180 rate in the tournament hasn't been good - he's thrown 1 more maximum than MVG despite having played 6 sets more than him. I think MVG could be up by default

Yea, probably had it too easy all the way through didn't he. Never looked particularly like winning from 1-1 on sets in the final.
