Ballyadam 40-1 - Ballymore
Aione 80-1 - NH Chase
Diol Ker 40-1 - RSA
Santini 12-1 - Gold Cup
But i did take advantage of Hills TWAR doubles, with the likes of Fakir Doudairies @ 14-1, Monkfish @ 10-1, Ferny @ 10-1, Ballyadam 14-1, Salsaretta 10-1 etc as well as a number of early Sky big priced RaB including Shishkin (A) Abracadabra (CH) Envoi (a/r) 175-1 and TopoftheGame to win the Ladbroke/Gold Cup @ 150-1.
Envoi Allen 6/1 and 5/1 (Marsh)
Shishkin 9/2 and 4/1 (Arkle)
Bob Ollinger 33/1 and 25/1 (Ballymore)
Fakir D'Oudaries 25/1 (Champion Chase) and 14/1 (Any Race)
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
Lisnager Oscar (worth 48 pts) and Thyme Hill (46 pts) in the Stayers are both not far behind.
Then it's everything at 33/1 that I've backed 1 pt e/w that pay +41 pts
This will change absolutely loads and isn't a reflection of the horses that I like the most or I think are the most likely winners or even the best value though, I've not really kicked into gear yet and won't be for a few months yet.
Currently sat as follows (though is so close between 3 & 4 plus loads of others):
1. The Big Getaway (RSA)
2. Bob Ollinger (Ballymore)
3. Hook Up (Mares Nov.)
4. Lamarckise (Mares)
As others have said, this will change massively from now until the day. Hook Up & Lamarckise purely because of their prices that they are so high up on the list! Have a list of about a further 10 that are 1-5pts away from them, so it's all very close. My top two are well clear though, and only performances on the track will change my mind about them, as I'll look to keep topping up on them.
I havent pushed the button too much on the 2021 Fez since I got back from this seasons one.
Biggest returns I have at the moment are:-
Backed both during the Festival Week
GOSHEN (Champion Hurdle) 1.5pts@40/1 and 1pt@33/1 = 93 point profit potential
PUT THE KETTLE ON (Champion Chase) 1pt@33/1 = 33 point profit potential
Two others I have backed since the Fez finished, at biggest profit potential, are
EASYWORK (RSA Chase) 2 pts@33/1 = 66 point profit potential
SAINT ROI (Champion Hurdle) 1.8pts@25/1 = 45 point profit potential
I really wish I put more bets on with William Hill on their TWAR markets when they were allowing multiples. They only allowed multiples for a few weeks after the last festival and one of the Norton’s piled into them and got a massive treasure chest of TWAR doubles and trebles which now look like great bets this far out. I did a about half a dozen doubles & trebles in this catergory and they are potentially my best bets so far:
TWAR Double
Ferny Hollow 10/1
Monkfish 10/1
TWAR Double
Fakir D’oundaries 14/1
Put The Kettle On 14/1
TWAR Treble
Appreciate It 10/1
Shiskin 3/1
Honeysuckle 3/1
I’m also happy with the 66/1 I got on Klassical Dream for the Arkle and the 55/1 I have to on Minella Indo for the GC both in favourites rollover treble.
