Got a 25% bonus on a 3 leg+ accumulator on Paddy, valid today only (not sure when I got it). First time I've seen something like that on Paddy so may be worth checking your accounts?

For a while now I’ve been reflecting on the overall value of ‘free bets’ etc. the Bet365 free football game was initially ‘lucrative’ (probably too strong a description) but then was devalued. It took a bit of time each week to enter and led me to wonder whether time taken on it and other betting sites was worth it. I had not kept a record so I did not know one way or an other it’s worth. So from Cheltenham I have kept a record.
I have 6 bookie accounts (Bet365/PP/Betfair/Coral/Sky/WH). To varying degrees all have offered ‘free bets’. I’m using that phrase as shorthand for opportunities such as ‘free spins’ to gain cash. I must say I’m a little surprised at the results after 4 months. I have ‘won’ just under £150 which has been used on my Cheltenham 25 book. Coral have proved the best source outperforming others easily. I should add that during the Euros there were specific free bets on the football and I have included winning ones in the £150 as these were then converted into Cheltenham bets.
Many of the free bets eg Coral place time limits on the use of their bets but it’s a problem I’m happy to deal with. So overall I have found as a moderate speculator on the AP markets that it has been worthwhile to build in a healthy % to the overall outlay at this early stage in book building. I’m sure others have similar experiences and more than I have so it would be interesting to hear from others.

…£2.50 4 goals, £5 5 goals for me this weekend is decent, just hope the lower league and Scottish strikers are on form.
