    • With how competitive the Supreme is going to be both on track and in the ring the bookies are going to dangle some wonderful offers for us punters for the opening race. If you are not on one of the main fancies yet I'd say wait now until the day itself.

You was looking at EVS for the pair, you don't need Jonbon though

        • Ironically I think Jonbon is heading towards a very backable price. He'd be my pick of the four at the prices in the antepost market at the moment, if I was starting right now.

you could dutch them on the day for better.
You reckon you’ll be able to dutch them on the day for better? I agree it’s shite ante post as you could end up even money on 1 runner but the flip is they could be well clear on figures if anything happens to Willies.

Assuming Willie runs 2 of DD, SG & Kilcruit & no 4yo wild card, what top price you reckon you’ll get on either on the day. I reckon 11/4 & 9/2. Based on that it’s about evens the 2 so in theory yes, you could dutch them on the day…

It's always tricky when trying to second guess who turns up or not (injury or design).
But the prices are nearly always shorter right now than they would be on the day for sure. Approx 25-50% out. price wise. So a 4-1 shot would be nearer 5 or even 6's. Especially this year as the race is poised to be very much anticipated.

So NRNB may pay off on either right now but would probably only be the case if one didn't make it.

Even if it was just the two of them, it's hard to envisage after decs that dutching them wouldn't come close and if Mullins has at least one up there, then I'd say for sure.
The only thing maybe that one pays odds on and the other odds against.

                • When Sir G wins comfortably beating the best of the rest from Ireland, you may see half a point drift on one or two of the principles in the market Kev.

If he doesn't perform as expected though, the others will still be available in the market at current prices as they cross the line at Leopardstown. So that would be the time to act because if Sir G disappoints it could well mean a cut for one or both of Hendo's pair.

If I were in your position I'd be hovering over the button just in case.

Yeah my instinct is that if Sir Gerhard is beaten I'll back Constitution Hill.

I'm disappointed there isn't a clever way of a related double up to be honest, but it'd involve backing all the other likely winners with CH and that maths doesn't work out as clever.

                    • Anyone with a Paddy Power: I went onto the live chat to try and request a speculative birthday free bet. Surprisingly I got awarded one and then the wife's account got one too. I informed a group chat I have going on and a few there got one too so thought I'd share if anyone wanted to do it.

Go onto live chat, select free bet request, good will gesture and the automated reply will/won't credit you and inform you either way.

The double is 4/1 using 365s ‘not to win’ market Kev and slightly less if you take NRNB on CH
