Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Never mind qualify, needs a big step forward on his jumping compared to LTO

Re Bob & Co, see below from Paul Nicholls in the Sporting Life.

HAYDOCK 17:00 - Bob And Co

He was in top form in Hunter chases this time last year, winning twice ridden by his enthusiastic owner David Maxwell. The plan was to take him to Aintree for the Foxhunters until racing came to a halt. Bob and Co was struggling a little with his breathing last season so we sorted that out in the summer. He is in really good shape now and should take all the beating in this before heading to Cheltenham for the Hunter Chase for which he is already qualified.

Really fancied him last season, before he looked like an absolute head case during qualifying races! If he is able to settle now he could be very interesting.

        • That 3rd place gets TWE into this then? Not that he'll be winning it based on showings so far...

          • Not sure that Bob & Co's jumping will be good enough to win at Cheltenham.

The Worlds End qualified now but looked knackered.

Don't think either of these will trouble Billaway .

            • No way the doctor gets around Cheltenham on him so if you fancy Bob and co it’s deffo a wait to see if pro jocks can ride

              • Good prep from Shantou flyer at Wincanton

The first three from last year could fight it out again

Don't think we'll see Shantou as he's not eligible I reckon

Yes he is eligible and already qualified from 2020 Hunter Chase runs. However PN stated a few days ago they were concentrating on handicaps with him. Its possible they could change their minds, so won't know for sure until entries are in.

Didn't think you could alternate between the 2 codes myself.

“From January 1, 2018, once a horse in the care of a licensed trainer has run in a hunters' steeple chase, it may only run in other hunters' steeple chases for the remainder of the hunters' chase season (i.e. up to finals evening at Stratford on June 8). This excludes the Royal Artillery Gold Cup and Grand Military Gold Cup”

                          • Doesn't that just relate to switching from Hunter Chases to Handicaps but not the other way round? SF hasn't run in Hunter Chases this season prior to his Handicap runs, which in any case would have been prohibited by the rules you have highlighted. Not convinced you can't move from Handicaps into Hunter Chases during the same season though.
