Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum
We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

As tempting as it is to back Aloneamongmillions to win today and in March (or any other horse featuring today ).... do remember that today is 5f shorter than the Festival race and therefore likely to suit a different type of horse.
Probably why not many (if any?) double up.

Aloneamongmillions definitely wants further than two and half. He wasn't quick enough, but stayed on nicely. Hard to say who would be the better horse over 3m2f at Cheltenham. Billaway will be cut and Aloneamongmillions will be much better value.
I would say backers of both horses shouldn't be too despondent with that.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

This was a Ryanair trip not a Gold Cup one.
The first three would be pretty pleased with today, and could all line up with good chances in March.
It Came To Pass was thrashed in this race last year, and then made the Foxhunters a one-horse race under three months later.
His trainer said after the Foxhunters that he was a spring horse and he knew he would improve from his Christmas beating in this race.
Maybe the same applies to some beaten today too.Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 17 December 2020, 05:23 PM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

Very, very nice runs from both Billaway and Aloneamongmillions. Both will appreciate the step up in trip and both are still relatively inexperienced (especially Aloneamongmillions) in respect of Hunter Chasing. Both travelled and jumped great. Two great AP bets to have in the book.

For anyone looking out for a longer priced selection in this, Marcle Ridge at 33-1 could be an option. He finished 6th in this race in 2020 after a bold display of front running. He clearly didn't see it out on that occasion but he's still comparatively young for this race and might get closer in 2021 if going here (he could bypass this for Aintree).
No comments yet from connections regarding Cheltenham but he proved his well being at the weekend by winning the mixed open at Larkhill under another front running ride, this time by Hannah Lewis who also won the ladies open. I have added Marcle Ridge at boosted odds of 37-1.
