Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

Not with Patrick though. He puts them in some awkward positions to jump, that’s what got him beat.

Stand Up and Fight is one for Aintree I’d say.
Yeah, I was very much of the same opinion. Patrick reminds me of Ruby, to a little extent, where he lets the horse make up its own mind over obstacles at cruicial stages of a race. Billaway had made a few mistakes during the race making up his own mind, so unsure why he was allowed to do the same at the last fence, that said, I'm not and have never been a jockey, and it is oh so easy to judge behind a computer screen

Yep. Very happy with that. All about experience with that horse. Come March, he'll be ready. It came to Pass drifted like a barge so clearly not expected today. Don't give up on him. Winner is very good on his going days but not one to trust.

...Billaway now 8-1 Fav with Hills for this.

It was 10-1 via a SkyRaB but that market is currently removed, be interesting if that’s still there.

Controversial opinion and his strike rate directly contradicts this, but I really don't think Patrick is as good an amateur jockey as people make out.

I would look like a decent driver if all I drove were rolls royce's and ferrari's.

What is he doing at the last, boot him in to it, get him home. You are not Ruby Walsh. He did this with melon too in the marsh.

Amazingly I am not talking out of my wallet either

Trainer interview for It Came To Pass today on RTV said he would need the run, and he is always best in the second part of the season, which his form backs up,

S/r doesn't contridict it as he's riding favs/2nd favs every other race. Run his A/E through and he doesn't stand out, he's good but it's not like having Codd/Derek/Barry on.

To me Patrick lacks practice and therefore confidence over fences. I dont know if he rides out every day or just oversees

Well, this got no likes, and having only just seen the race back....I can't imagine many people are going to like this either

Get in !! That's just like me studying for hours and picking a loser and my wife just picking one out because it's the same as the name of a Goldfish we once had and it winning at 33's. It's an easy game isn't it Kev

Was a big supporter of SUAF in prev foxhunters in March, but never delivered. Typical i was on the second today, and had a look at SUAF when it went to 50s, but didnt back, kicking myself. Theres just some horses that you are sometimes happy to see retired. But well done on your bet.

Interesting Hunters chase at Down Royal on Thursday

Entries include Billaway,Standupandfight,Some Man,Rewritetherules and one that interests me aloneamongmillions who is unbeaten apart from falling on debut and beat Staker Wallace last time

I could be wrong but I think this is the Hunters chase that is usually run on December 26th
