Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi All,

I am a relatively recent racing enthusiast in comparison to my fellow members. I am a 24 year old who has been following racing properly for around 4 years or so. My love affair started with racing as my dad took me every year to the New years day meeting every year from the age of about 6 or 7. Now i attend the Cheltenham festival like it is my Church. I love an ante-post bet and have really enjoyed reading through the different threads and picking up on different nuggets of information.

I'll look forward to talking all things racing in the near future

    All the best!

          Hi All,

I am 40 years old and have been a very keen racing fan since the early 2000's with the Cheltenham Festival getting me hooked!
I remember speaking to a friend of mine (another keen Festival goer) before my first festival and he said "once you've been, you'll never not go again!" - never a truer word said.

I've witnessed some memorable races over the years but specifically recall Wichita Lineman's epic rally up the hill, Vautour absolutely faultless and obviously the Kauto Star / Denman clashes.

I've been reading a lot of the posts on this site over the past few months and have really enjoyed the knowledgeable approach and banter that sits along side it - so I thought why not get involved.

I have to say the member called "Lobos" strikes me as someone I could listen to chat about racing all day!

Anyway, hope to have a small input into this great forum.......

If the Lobos comment is a joke then I look forward to reading your input.
If not, then I'm worried about you, very worried.

Welcome TFR. I'm glad there's someone on here who is mad enough to listen to my constant drivel. Hopefully some of it makes sense.

                      • Hi everybody, hope you’re all well. I’m 28 and been following racing just about as long as I’ve been legal to gamble, probably even a little bit before that, although probably started taking a serious interest in National Hunt racing about 2013.

I don’t go mental on the antepost front as a rule but I do like to start throwing some ammo at the novice races this far out where there is real value to be had if you drop on the right one, none of my mates are really interested in racing and my workmates are casual punters at best so I’m glad I’ve found somewhere to share & take in educated opinions.

Good luck to all for a profitable season ahead 👍🏼

                            • Welcome ToniC

I think everytime I see you make a post I'm going to imagine you're some sort of wiseguy or capo dei capi.

Either that or some crap white rapper from the 90's.

                              You can choose ?
