Does anyone know whether it was Ruby or the owners made the call and whats the arrangement there? I would have assumed Ruby decided.

Interesting one if it comes to Concertista and BDD doesn't run
I'd actually expect it to be Townend still.

I think Jacob is lucky to be in the job really... he's not gonna rock the boat.

    Townend is better than him.

I'd take it as a huge negative if Jacob rode actually

The more you think about it, the more nailed on it is that BDD does run here.

What chance of Paul Townend not having a ride in the MARES HURDLE? Him 'losing' the ride, to Jacob?

PT in my opinion is at the top of his game and the top of the game for that matter this season. He is riding incredibly at the moment, very rarely gets a ride wrong and brilliant at judging pace and being in the right spot.

Yeah its hard to know, but christ a never ending saga.

I would fancy BDD in either race (plus her price is too big) so only one thing keep hammering the NRNB in both

I’m guessing that’s as much information that was sent offered ?

Yeha, put her up in with without Apple's Jade market at 4/1 NRNB when she won the Mares - before you joined though. Argued with scooby about her quite a lot actually.

Would never aftertime so haven’t mentioned it but since you’re specifically asking this wouldn’t count for that ... the year she won the mares I had her at 27/1 any race at the start of the season and backed her again for the mares hurdle at 9/1 a few weeks before the race.

That season (the start of that season) was what began my love affair with her.

Also worth saying that despite that decent win, I lost more on her when she fell the following year in what was the most gutwrenching moment I’ve ever had on a racecourse.

                      • Everything crossed this injury is not true. And if it is.. let’s hope it’s the smallest of small setbacks.

Tell me about it............she was my Honeysuckle that year. Constantly badgered all my mates for a year to back her at 4/1 all rates down. Dreadful experience when she dropped. Bitch !

She already had the initial injury which set her back from starting the season until February.

Getting to Feb then getting another one.

Willie will be sure to keep everyone up to date
