Shes only been cut half a pt with PP/BF, surely because the 5/1 ew NRNB was a no brainer

Yep, that was Kev moving the market again. Purely Ew NRNB money.

        • Strongest confirmation Honeysuckle goes CH

Molony said: "Last season we more or less decided from the start that we were going for the Mares' Hurdle no matter what happened. She jumped a bit big and novicey when winning the Irish Champion last year and we didn't just trust her jumping would stand up at championship pace over two miles at Cheltenham, which is why we stuck to the plan.

"However, I think her jumping has come on in leaps and bounds this year and she's getting slicker and faster. We are definitely edging towards the Champion Hurdle, but let's see what happens on Saturday first."

Reads the same to me as we have understood for a number of months, all depends on what happens at the weekend. Obviously they are hopeful as she is favourite, but if she’s beat (and she is odds against let us not forget) she will very likely be in the Mares again

I’m pretty sure there have been previous comments to that effect and is the reason it has been anticipated otherwise most of us would still be expecting her to attempt to retain her crown in the Mares irrespective of the result at the weekend.

Apologies if I misread your post but thought you were implying they were confirming she would go for the CH irrespective of the result at the weekend, which wouldn’t be my take.

No need to apologise. Wasn't suggesting CH under all circumstances, just the strongest indication id seen that CH is indeed plan A at this stage.

The second part of this is important. Her jumping in the Mares Hurdle and her race this season was very good and she definitely showed a good turn of pace in both races to put daylight between herself and the others at a crucial point. She has looked as though 2 miles would not be a problem.

                    • I think those comments just confirm the general feeling....

If she wins the Irish Champion Hurdle, she goes CH (and to be fair, so she foioking shoudl do regarldess of our ante post bets)

Ifshe loses, it's odds on she goes back up in trip to the Mares Hurdle.

If she's beaten in the ICH, the one that beats her, plus Epatante (plus maybe Sharjah) are ahead of her..... in the Mares Hurdle, she sets the standard.

                      To win AND
                      NRNB

                      The ways to go. obv.

Well this is a washout isn't it.

Obviously the best people haven't turned up.

If you laugh even half as much as I did whilst typing it, it was worth it
