Strongest confirmation Honeysuckle goes CH
Molony said: "Last season we more or less decided from the start that we were going for the Mares' Hurdle no matter what happened. She jumped a bit big and novicey when winning the Irish Champion last year and we didn't just trust her jumping would stand up at championship pace over two miles at Cheltenham, which is why we stuck to the plan.
"However, I think her jumping has come on in leaps and bounds this year and she's getting slicker and faster. We are definitely edging towards the Champion Hurdle, but let's see what happens on Saturday first."

Apologies if I misread your post but thought you were implying they were confirming she would go for the CH irrespective of the result at the weekend, which wouldn’t be my take.

I think those comments just confirm the general feeling....
If she wins the Irish Champion Hurdle, she goes CH (and to be fair, so she foioking shoudl do regarldess of our ante post bets)
Ifshe loses, it's odds on she goes back up in trip to the Mares Hurdle.
If she's beaten in the ICH, the one that beats her, plus Epatante (plus maybe Sharjah) are ahead of her..... in the Mares Hurdle, she sets the standard.
To win AND
NRNB
The ways to go. obv.Last edited by Kevloaf; 4 February 2021, 12:43 AM.
