@JessWestwood
Is Dame De Compagnie still in training?
She most certainly is and is fit and fully schooled to start her chasing career. She is electric over fences and I might even drop her back down to two miles because she enjoys it that much and is so quick. She’s ready to run.

As per my diary thread, I've just backed Indefatigable @ 28/1 E/W for this race, and this is why.
First off, she very much likes Cheltenham, her record at the track is 5-1-2-1, the 5th being in the Mares Novice Hurdle in 2019 over an inadequate 2m, the other form figures include the win last season in the Martin Pipe where she just got up. The 2nd placed run was only 4 1/2 lengths behind Dame De Compagnie, but she had to give her 5lbs that day too. DDC is going over fences by the sounds of it yet finds herself 16pts shorter than Indefatigable for this race.
Of the others in the market, Honeysuckle, whilst I think should run here, could well have a pop at a Champion Hurdle if she wins the Irish version again, hopefully this is not the case, but we won't know for another month or so, then you have Concertista, who is another to have proved she likes Cheltenham, she was 5 lengths ahead of Indefatigable in the Mares Novice Hurdle of 2019 before winning the following seasons race, but I think the 2m trip inconvenienced Indefatigable more than it did Concertista, and besides, their current prices are 24.5pts apart (obviously taken on evidence of this seasons form so far). After Concertista you have Benie Des Dieux, who sounds like the plan is the Mares Chase, with the yard having Concertista for this race, and besides, even if she were to turn up here, she'd already been done by Honeysuckle the previous season, aged 10 you just have to wonder how little progression, if any, she still has in her over hurdles. DDC is next, followed by Roksana, who looks a different horse over 3m than the 2m 4f of the Mares Hurdle, and is another who is now 9 years of age, so the longer trip seems to be the right call with her anyhow. Burning Victory up next, haven't heard a peep from her though, so would be difficult to make a case for the 'lucky' Triumph Hurdle winner. Minella Melody has been dicked by Concertista 4 times now, and I think she'll be better off over further myself, I wonder if they'll consider the Stayers Hurdle if Honeysuckle ends up here. Elfile is then in and around the price Indefatigable is, again, like Burning Victory, a mare we haven't seen or heard from since the early stable tours, so whether she'll even make the festival is anyones guess.
If Honeysuckle and Concertista both turn up then you could argue Indefatigable is playing for one place only, barring any falls, which obviously wouldn't be ideal, but then how many in the current market are actually going to turn up? At this stage I'd say it is unlikely that Benie Des Dieux, Dame De Compagnie & Roksana, with doubts about Burning Victory & Elfile also, that leaves Minella Melody & Indefatigable, plus mares in behind that will significantly shorten before the festival. We could also include the fact that the Irish may not travel, though I find this highly unlikely, but there must be a very small possibility, if that were to happen Indefatigable would be at and around the head of the market. What if Honeysuckle does go for the Champion Hurdle too? That opens up another place possibility also.
I also wouldn't rule out Indefatigable reversing form with Concertista either. Five lengths is not a lot to make up when taking the trip into consideration as well.
Of Indefatigables form this season, she's had one run on the flat, for race fit purposes I'd guess, this can be ignored completely, IMO, however she did run a below par race at Kempton trying 3m+ for the first time in her career, the trip being the obvious excuse, but she wasn't beat out of site, and she was against much more race fit rivals that day too. She has an entry this weekend in the Relkeel over 2m 5f against the boys, where she has been jocked up. Given the opposition, any sort of OK performance I'd be happy with, before heading to the festival.
28/1 looked a fair price, before we see her out again, and I'm hoping she shows up well on Saturday.

Henry De Bromhead (according to twitter) https://twitter.com/search?q=henry%2...d_query&f=live
has said the descision on where Honeysuckle runs will depend on her performance in the Irish Champion Hurdle...
Which we all have known for a while, but nice to have it 'confirmed'.

I tell you what WILL be a clever bet....
Honeysuckle to win the Irish Champion Hurdle doubled with Concertista here....
If Honeysuckle wins the ICH, they're made it clear enough they'll go CH?
Leaving Concertista short priced here.
The same probably worth doing with Benie Des Dieux too - I assume we'll know a bit more when that's due in 5 or so weeks...
